Yea, if the host dies, wont the biju revive again?
Anything is possible now that Sasuke has some of the Kyuubi's chakra.
It could spark up there last conversation, or cause some type of evolution. I guess time will tell.
So Kurama always liked Naruto. I KNEW IT!! Deep within that red bad looking chakara it was a fluff ball. haha yeaa!!
Why wouldn't it? The choices would have been either being out of play for a couple of years to decades before being freed for sure or being out of play for at least several decades with only a small chance of being freed. In both cases it would still be out of play. So the former seems more preferable, especially since the Kyuubi had already been sealed for at least six decades already.
Of course, the Kyuubi being what it is, time may not be a concern for it.
Was it ever stated how long it takes a bijuu to be reborn? It used to be believed that bijuu return when the world is in a state of malice. I'm sure wars weren't few and far between, but global wars were.
Death is painful, Kurama has feelings too and who with a sane mind[angry and furious, but not insane] would commit suicide? Rather than die with no knowledge if and when it will return, it did rather decide to wait for a frustrating/anguishing moment of Naruto to take over and be reborn/freed this way. Just think about it, Naruto was lucky to have such great sealing specialists[Minato/Jiraiya/Kakashi to some degree] and Yamato[!] around him to save him from dire situations. Had it not been for Killer B, Gyūki might have escaped again too.

So that he can't use it against him during their potential final fight? Or so that when he finally returns to Konoha, it won't be because he was truly redeemed... but because the only way to reach his full strength is to spend the rest of his life up Naruto's ass?Originally Posted by badluckartist
I'm sure you meant short term, as in just during this battle though.
Besides the ages and immortality of the biju. I wonder since Kurama was infact a baby at one point, and now hes big as a mountain, im thinking they do get older and bigger. So maybe in another 1000 years, he could pass away, leaving behind a huge ball of chakara that recovers itself over time.
