Most of all I question the logic behind the Xin pick. There's no synergy with Xin and MF/Sona. The latter is all about trying to catch the enemy team gathered and get off two good ults, but Xin's ult knocks everyone away and can easily mess up the MF/Sona ult combo.
Xin's ult is good for protection, as well as in some pick off cases, but that's about it. Compared to Fnatic, Gambit lacked heavily in the CC department. Not to mention Fnatic had insane wombo-combo potential, not to mention DOUBLE revive passives. Their team comp basically had reaaaally good synergy. Gambit's looked more like a YOLO Q comp, to be frank.
Gambit also focused a lot at the top lane. I get the logic behind trying to snowball the Shyvanna and making her an unstoppable annoyance, but Alex' TF pick really didn't work well when he focused the top lane where Zac is not only hard to actually kill, but has really good escape tools. Making plays in mid/bot lane would have been easier.

Judging by Xpecial's Gamespot interview from Day 1, it seems like the studio they're using for the Group Stages will be the LCS studio going forward. Definite upgrade.

LOL, wtf...Chaox even streaming from the Coast house. Elementz and him are both Canadian, but I don't know anything about their relationship otherwise. It does look fishy, Nuno.
Yesterday everyone seemed to think Ozone's botlane was probably one of the best in League. Now? All of them are trash!
It would be super awesome if both Fnatic and Gambit made it out of groups stage.
I didn't watch any of the games on this second game, prolly will watch the voids later, but damm i really think c9 has high chances of winning worlds
With Chaox current level I think Coast is actually an OK team to join. Chaox is so far away from world class ad that he can't expect to join any real power houses. Coast did poorly in the LCS and it would be logical for them to consider roster changes to get better and fix some problems in their current roster.

Just watched FNC vs Ozone. What a stomp, really. Dade played like crap, wasting so much time all the time, and missing every single ult, wtf. xPeke ran circles around him, and the entirely of Ozone.
Wow, after seeing SKT, OMG and Ozone play so far, I feel like you jorped, C9 definitely stands a fair chance. Obviously we haven't seen the other teams that are already in the Quaster-Finals, plus teams do tend to get better with more games (like FNC), but in the Quaster finals there really isn't that crazy teams. Bears shouldn't be that bad, Najin B Sword are the worst Korean team on paper in Worlds (though Ozone might be worse now, lol). Royal is probably hard.
But damn, TSM really is unlucky with their group. GG.EU aside their group is soooo hard. The best Chinese AND Korean team, as well as LD which was the most consistent EU team in LCS before play-offs. Really rooting for FNC, GMB and C9 now as I doubt any other NA/EU team will get out of the group stage.
Damm dude! Aatrox was picked 6 times out of the 15 games played so far. 6 games 6 wins! It definitely shows that he is a really good pick, at least in certain comps, and that's something i have previously mentioned.
Why he is such a strong pick imo?
- First of all his early game is one of the best! An Aatrox with double buffs + dorans, is so damm strong.
- His q is awesome for both evade/gank.
- His e is also really good, and it isn't that hard to hit with it on opponent team, though for some it might take a little of practice.
- His w for me is what makes him so cool. Activated or not, at certain moments if it's used correctly, you will just understand how awesome that skill is in general.
The sustain you obtain with your w is so awesome, specially if you are bellow 50% health. And the damage with w activated? OMG! If you ever played him top lane you gonna understand! The moment you reach lvl 2, and your enemy still lvl 1 most of the times i would recommend you to go all in. Jump to them with a q, and with your w activated *you should prolly jump into them, knowing that your next auto attack will do that bonus damage, but i would recommend even if the w won't prox on your next auto, because if you hit your q you prolly can get a couple of auto attacks* and i guarantee you they aren't gonna have much health left. I normally end killing them by using ignite, and at some cases, even flashing to them *after they flashing as well to give 1 or 2 more auto attack and finally kill them*.
- If you use your passive really early, it will revive with basically almost no health, but still that will only be a problem if someone is really near you *as reviving takes some seconds, meanwhile the cd on some of your spells will have lowered, and at some cases you might actually have it up, and all his skills can at some point be used to escape a really bad situation.
- His ult! I simply love this ability! It makes so much easier to get objectives!
You just ganked mid? The enemy's midlaner is dead? "Let's push mid fast dude", even without damage items, with his ult, if you see the right chance to take a tower without any opposition, you should just press ult and take the fucking tower.
That's what i love about him! You can get objectives faster than with any other viable jungler, and you still good at other phases of the game.
Aatrox is not a bad tank(though there are a lot of better "tank" picks), has a really great clear time on the jungle, is really strong early and mid game, and with him you can punish so much the enemies.
He is definitely my favorite champion right now
I don't now, the picture is kind of clearer after two days, but it's still only two days. I wouldn't be surprised if the standings even out more.
