I think right now we just want some better fight scenes and more sense from the story.
Thank god it's over... Which one probably put a end to my manga days..
Depends on how it ends. If Kishi manages to completely turn the ship around and make the story make sense then ok, Ill buy that and be happy. If it ends with Sasuke and Naruto sharing the devil fruit I am going to........I don't know, but I won't be very happy.
i think sasuke is gonna end up being a villan some how...
Considering I am following this for some 10 years (don't even remember for sure but a long time) I am definitely going to be sad to see it go.
I remember how I felt when (for instance) Smallville ended or even Merlin....
I know for sure that I'll cry, just as I did back than with Inuyasha...
Naruto is like a boxer past his prime. They will continue to have a few good moments but the longer they fight the more they killed or damage their legacy.
I actually can't wait till it ends...
This manga needs to end with a bang.
If it continues on this road of crap, then I won't be sad to see it go. I will rather remember the good old days when the manga was actually good.
However, if it gets better and goes back to the high quality it used to be (HxH, OP, and DBZ ain't got shit on Naruto when it was at its best), then I will be sad.
Honestly I'll be really sad, but it really doesn't matter. I've followed the story for 8 years now, but it's been rather lackluster for a long time now. The war overall hasn't been like I wanted or expected.
Now please don't start an off-topic discussion from my upcoming example, but I followed the TV series Dexter for 5 years too. It ended last week. The last season was so bad to me that I just didn't give a shit. It ended, and I almost laughed at how bad it was, shrugged it off and didn't really think more about it. Granted a series like Naruto sort of takes up more of your life if you go heavy on the forum part. But if the story isn't doing well, as a fan I think you should be happy it's over when it's over, if it ends remotely well. There's nothing worse than seeing something you love going down the dumpster, and getting an unfair and unwarranted reputation as a result of it. Naruto is one of those instances, a series once regarded as epic by the masses, into a series many find illogical and ridiculous. Actually, Naruto's fall from "guaranteed top 2/3" in the weekly TOC into a Yo-yo that goes anywhere from 1-7 etc (mostly around 4-6) is evidence of the masses' disappointment in Naruto's "epic and grand finale". Personally I find it lackluster as well, even though occasionally Naruto delivers some quite epic content.
A series should rather end sooner than later, when it's still on top and crisp in the edges.
,Like others that I've watched over a long time, I'm not gonna cry but be sad of course. But I'm just gonna accept it then move on. Though I want to see more of it. Some things may not go well but I'm still entertained at least, as I'm a fan who cares more on the good parts than worse shits.
Lets think of a name for the after series. Naruto, Golden times. Haha I have nothing.
Naruto: Hokage Chronicles, LoL
