Reminds me of Ragnarok Online . As an alchemist , i have to say i loved crafting , but overall , it was the acid demolition [i hope i got it right , it was a gr8 one hit move] that made me an alchemist . Well that and the floating orb things that burst on nearby foes.

oooh .. the mc lvled up quite a bit . I'd go pure int personally . He has that int to damage conversion passive and not to mention , he could gain a better spirit bolt . Next , higher intel could mean better grades and better understanding of his situation.
Int has good value outside of fights, but personally i'd go dex. If your fast and agile you would never get hit.
In most games, you tend to focus your skills and your traits so that your limited supplies of skill points and the points you spend on traits cause you to get really good in certain fields..... And not so good in others. That was the reason people were forced to choose a class of character. Our main seems to have the luxury of picking skills from any class though. This could be bad news for the main though, as the only games I can remember that allowed you to do that, caused the Xp requirements to go up very quickly. At first, you would level up almost as easily as other low level characters, but as you went along it adds up fast. For example, if you learn Warrior, Cleric and Mage skills you would have to level up each profession at the same time... So you need triple the Xp each time you level. I can also see him adding other skills just to try them out an make the problem worse. Most people playing this game would have to set limits on themselves so they wouldn't learn too many professions... Or they would have to delete and re-roll their character.
To make matters worse, you get diminishing returns as you level up. So those easy to kill zombies will continue to get easier, but he'll get less and less out of them. He will have to step up to harder prey as he levels up just to keep earning XP. That part is standard gameplay though.
I'd say his MCs class is super novice ....
And yes , in Korean MMOs , XP requirement goes up and you get diminishing results , i wonder if he will fight boss monsters already .
Is that why he didn't spent his points already because usually you don't wait that much ?
Yeah, the chunbumoon divine tech requires 90 int to learn.
I guess, he is like us when we begin a RPG, we don't really know the best way to spend our points, so we don't really spend them, except for the immediate needs.
he said that he don't want active skills for the moment and wants to learn passive skills and level them up i think he will look for those passive skills and level them up for stats %
i'm thinking about him dying and spawning in their house hehehehe
I love how he stood atop the mound of zombies, he reminds me of how I feel in games, like Im litrally on top of the world! Hes so awesome and the writer definitely is someone whose feelings I can relate to.

Looks like he is pretty concerned about his future. I think throwing a few points at INT probably is a good idea... If nothing else it will improve his ability to reason it through.
