So, should I do it like this?
そこはさあ (not sure how this is used.
If I live in a easy going place//
But that's a nice way of saying good riddance, huh?
Context: One guy is saying this to another guy.
Life is short.//Fall in love, young maiden. (or is it fall in love with a young maiden?)
Context: One guy asked if he dated someone and he answered:
Things that I know
Things that I don't know
There are a lot of things I'm bothered by.
Context: Lightning strikes
Perhaps I feel that I'll manage being successful here

Alright, let's see... I don't feel like explaining much today, so... just a lot of possible translations. If you really would like me to, I'll explain more later.
そこはさあ = Well, about that...
I wonder if you won't become a better human, if you live in a peaceful place.
- It's hard to say anything about this without proper context, but...
少しは = a little
人間 = human
丸くなる = get well-rounded, be softened
かしれないけど = ??? (I think it's a form of かしら = I wonder if...)
Well, ???
- again, it's a hard construction and without any context I'm afraid I won't be able to say much about it. (Unless I do some real lot of research.)
。。か = Life is short, ???
- I need more context to decide on the second part... What is their whole conversation about? For now I can only say for sure it's a question... probably asked by the speaker to him/herself.
。。 Something like that... I guess.
Things I know, // things I don't know, // it's the difference that one year of life makes.
- Again, a little bit of context would be nice for this one, but...
There are many things that bother me.
こえー = Scary!
- From こわい【怖い】 = frightening, scary, dreadful, hair-raising, etc.
I think it'll probably be easier from here on, since we came this far already.
So, next time you ask help... it would be better if you give a bit more context or link to the actual pages. ^-^ That would make it easier for the people who try to help you.
About that ... / That ...
About the place ...
Here is my guess without context:Quote:
He* might have thought that I/you would calm down when I/you live somewhere laid back, but he probably just wanted to get rid of me/you.
He*: "思ったのかしれない" shows that there is a 3rd person who suggested "me/you(or whoever)" to live in a rural place or something.
But that's a nice way of saying good riddance, huh?" <---- fine
Your "Fall in love, young maiden." is fine.Quote:
..., or so they say.
I guess somewhat.
Sohma Riku's tl sounds good.Quote:
There are 2 people, and it is about what one person knows/don't know comes from the 1 year difference between them.
fine but "that bother me" is better.Quote:

I think I'll be ok here.Quote:
