aku Ichijou is an average high school student. He also happens to be the sole heir to the head of a Yakuza Family called the Shuei-gumi. Ten years ago, Raku made a promise... a secret promise with a girl he met. They promised one another that they will "get married when they reunite". Since then, Raku never let go of the pendant the girl gave him.
Then one day, a beautiful girl named Chitoge Kirisaki transfers into Raku's class. Their chemistry was more than off. There was not a moment where they were not fighting. But by a weird turn of events, Raku and Chitoge agree to become fake lovers. Although his heart is really interested in his classmate Kosaki Onodera, Raku must continue pretending to be Chitoge's boyfriend.

The most notable difference was with Tsugumi. Now she is cuter than the previous Key Visual.
Fantastic visual keys!

Small spoiler of the first five episodes based on the chapters of the manga.
So the anime could get to chps 25 if its ~12 episodes, or maybe somewhere in the 40's if it will be 24 eps. Are those good stopping points?
PS : your profile picture disturbs me... Poor Pocky, having to deal with Jean and Eren...

Omg the ED has Raku smiling at Shu, this is amazing!
I watched just now the episode. I think it was very good, they adapted the first chapter very well. The way how they separated everything in acts I like, too, but I tink it is possible only in the first episode, I have to see if they will do this in the next episodes and, if yes, how.
They covered the entire chapter without slips. The animation was already good before, the episode just confirmed it.
Perfect beginning IMO.
Note: This video above is the opening, you can notice by the name: "Click". They put in the end to not cut the first episode. They do it quite often.
They made it far more exciting at times then the manga even gets and their usual visual genutsus stuff being present to make some scenes really interesting (though all those sparkles and such whenever Chitoge had glamorous scenes kind of made me chuckle). Cooking master Raku part at the start was my favorite moment if we can get more of those.
Onodera, Shu, and Raku all have perfect voices. Opening scene with the locket history was my favorite sequence.
The moviment always makes things more interesting, but they used it perfectly, indeed. The sparkles on Chitoge was needed! hahahahha
Talking serious, don't bother me, I'm neutral about the sparkles. I thought to Shokugeki for a moment in the cooking scene. XD
Well, everything that they could do to make the first good, they did. The first scene in format of old film made the mood, the dynamic of the scenes and stuff. Principally, they were faithful. I hope that it continues like that.
Can't say anything about the story. Adapted that pretty well.
The animation is a major turn off for me though... I could live with while watching Monogatari... But this head tilt every damn time... The weird backgrounds... Furthermore Onodera with that voice... Nadeko all over again...
Anyway. I will watch episode 2... But surprisingly enough, it could be the last episode I watch.

I don't what do you mean with "head tilt", but I believe that it is just a detail. The background was faithful to the manga most of the time, some scenes on the chapter don't have background nowhere, in this case, I think, they did a good work. Which background would want?
The voice most suitable to its character was Onodera's one.
The Shaft head tilt.
I meant the overall style. The style shaft animates things... Just not the kind of stuff I like. The facial expressions were great, as always but it took me an hour to finish the episode because I couldn't keep watching.
You know that I don't like Onodera. That plus Nadekos voice... Meh.
