Hello, just want to know your opinions on which one is better when removing the shadows (dots). Would it be better to use cloning or just color on top of it. (Hair, Face, Shirt & Gloves).
I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that you want to color this page? And asking which way of doing it is better - brushing over the patterns or just colorizing them?
If so, then brushing over the patterns is the better choice. As long as you do it on a separate layer, you can always use layer blending modes to get the patterns back on the color page.
What I want to do is remove those pixel shadows and put on new shadow. So which method would be better cloning or just coloribg over with white
Wait, so you wanna remove all the grays (the dotted patterns)? Or just those darker parts (shadows) on the glove?
If it's the former, then you shouldn't use clone - the "source" would be too small. If it's the latter, then clone is your friend here.
To be honest, if you want to remove all the patterns, you should probably do it via selection and filling. Either manually select the areas with Magnetic Lasso and fill with white (on a new layer - so that you can make corrections), or use Magic Wand on black parts, select inverse, new layer, fill with white.
Oh, and the first thing you should do with this page is level it more, since, atm, it's covered with denoised dirt. ( [1,00] should work.)
