I think it's just a lie to get rid of Sanji. She doesn t intend to hide or leave. It's just a way to do do what she wants without worrying Sanji. Why would she wait this day for that? And now she s with Luffy at the roya palace 's entrance -> lie
Actually it's possibly the opposite. It could be the reason the revolutionaries are there but who knows.
She was already shown to be going to the palace on the toy horse, it was a lie to make Sanji not interfere with her going for Dofla.
It being a lie makes lotsa sense... but it had never crossed my mind 'til now.
Still, I want to believe that she began to trust Sanji, thus telling the truth (Sanji trusted her enough to not even ask who that person was...).
The fact that Viola lied to Sanji signifies that she understands him and cares about him. Viola did not want to burden Sanji with more problems when he had more than enough on his plate already.
I am enjoying how the relationship between Sanji and Viola is developing, hopefully we get to see more of Viola within the story of One Piece beyond this arc.
Maybe Violet saw Sabo and Koala. Sabo is busy with Ace's fruit, but Koala may be intending to destroy the factory. Then Violet could've gone to meet with her, and in the upcoming chapter Koala will join forces with Luffy, Zoro and Kin'emon.
because only them can put her under government protection.
Marine is DD's ally.
