Well, it's really obvious that naruto will end up to hinata. I've already seen this kind of love story so many times before. Aww man, that's very common to an Asian love story.

Well, it's either naruto didn't talk to her after he fought the pains or both of them are already had some "mutual understanding". Well, that's given. AFter all, kishi wouldn't sacrificed neji just for him to tell naruto that hinata will always be around and ready to die for him.
No shipping stuff please.
If that's the case, why the hell didn't that power awaken when he fought Pein and Hinata was stabbed? Instead, he gave in to Kurama.Originally Posted by KiSwordsman
Can't it just be as simple as "Naruto's Uzumaki heritage isn't as dominant as Kushina or Karin's"? Sasuke and Itachi could both use the rarest of MS abilities, and as far as we know Fugaku couldn't use any at all. Just like not every Uchiha is gonna be using Susanoo, not every Uzumaki is gonna be firing chains out of at people.
Ignoring the fact that the chains didnt exist at all at that point, let alone as a potential bloodline for the clan instead of an individual ability like mokuton, also that I'm not in agreement with Marshall, That doesn't change the fact that the potential is still there for both sides. Yeah, we might not be seeing it, but the potential still remains.

Did Fugaku have Mangekyo?

Sasuke had his curse seal and despite that unlocked two different Sharingan levels (2 tomoe and 3 tomoe), so that's no excuse.Originally Posted by Dark blood
Well, that's my point: potential is there, but it might be too small to ever amount to anything. Think the Uchiha example again. Every Uchiha, every single one, has the potential to unlock a Sharingan... but that potential could be so low that they never manage to do it. This is what I meant about Naruto not getting those chains. He has Uzumaki heritage, but just like it wasn't enough to grant him red hair, it wasn't enough to grant him the fuuinjutsu chains.Quote:
In other words, it's okay that he can't do it, just like it's okay that Fugaku can't use Susanoo. Not that great of an example since Fugaku hasn't been confirmed to have MS, but for argument's sake let's say he does. Actually, even better: let's just take Fugaku outta the equation and replace him with Obito.
That's also a possibility I considered.Originally Posted by badluckartist

This post will probably get a lot of hate, but whatever.
IMO the biggest asspull of the manga is Sasuke's strenght: during the fight with Gaara he is weaker than Naruto --> he fights with Naruto and wins thanks to Orochimaru's curse seal (no problem here) --> we see him again at the beginning of part 2 and he is like a lot stronger and more skilled than Naruto --> his strength grows so much that he actually fights equally with Itachi (i can understand even this since Itachi was sick and all, though i found it forced) --> he is no match for Killer B, but at the Kages summit he keeps spamming Susanoo A LOT for example and the list goes on... my problem with all of this is that there is no basis for it, i mean his power came literally out of nowhere, he either got that powerful already at the beginning of part 2 or it's simply a plothole.
Naruto had to train so much to reach that kind of power and seeing Sasuke being equal to him just like that is absurd IMO. He looks like he is strong because he has to be and that's it.
Sasuke also never fought equally with Itachi, given Itachi never went close to all out. Sasuke was also a match for Killerbee, which is why Bee praised Sasuke. Plus, the Susano'o didn't mean he was a match, given that he was not able to beat any of the kage but Danzou. Had he had Susano'o, Sasuke would have probably beat Bee. His growth is no different from Naruto's, who had the Kyuubi to help him throughout the series. Both grew naturally and with help, whether from others or from their genes.
