Correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't Jellal's eye perfectly intact in this picture?
I'm wondering if "crushed" is a mistranslation...
wouldn't say "perfect" but it seems to be intact, either tl-error or drawing error imo
Might be a translation error, but you could assume that Jellal's eyes were half-crushed to the point that he is temporarily blind now. I think it might be similar to how Kenshin in the Christian filler arc got temporarily blinded, while his eyes were intact.
I felt so happy seeing the stupid Chairman (because you must really be one to expect to be spared by the demons after transferring the key on you) dying by the hands of Kyouka.
Too bad that this meant the activation of Face......I wonder what will happen next in the chapter with Face and Elfman at FT.
Anyway Jellal was simply awesome this time and that Sema magic, truly is terryfing; I wonder if Jura would have been able to defend himself from it...
Face hasn't been activated yet, it's only been unsealed. Which is still bad, since the demons seem to know where it is, while no one else does as of yet. I'm betting Cana will play a role in stopping Elfman from activating the exploding Lacrima, since she seemed to find his story suspicious. Otherwise she was just being a huge jerk, which I somehow doubt.
inb4 Happy flies in, grabs the orb of destruction and flies off into the sky.
...then comes back down with a full body afro.
About Jellal's eye, I think that was just an artistic error. I mean, if an eye is "crushed" there's no temporary blindness...because it's crushed. When I read this manga in the morning (I was half asleep) I just thought Jellal was staring the guy in the face with damaged/missing eyes...which made the scene more powerful for me.
But now I guess it does kinda look like there's a retina still there. Hard to tell.
Well two things happen that I already figured out. Jellal was recruiting OS and I always imagine sema to be the way it was shown..just didnt what the name
Would be of course. Chapter was..so far Ft is losing for the first time in a long time.
That Chairman was an idiot. The moment he said he found a way to transfer the key I knew he was going to be dead when I turned the page. Also I just realized that Jellal's fight with Oracion Seis is a homage to Rave, when Sieghart fights with all the members of Rave's Oracion Seis. It's cool, but at the same time reminds me why I don't like Jellal. Also how did he crush his eyes exactly? And why are they there???
I'm pretty sure Face is just the beginning or the first step in a much bigger plot. They've gotten their hands on Face way too fast. We haven't even seen E.N.D. yet.
You know, it really seems strange that Doranbolt doesn't have much of a role in this arc aside from freeing OS, no? I think Doranbolt is currently gathering the 10 Wizards all over the continent+Gildarts for the final battle.
I was honestly intrigued by how he managed to switch the key but the more he talked I started connecting the dots. By the name I could think "SH, SHUT THE FUC--" he got impaled through the back.
Common sense just leaves certain characters. How can you work for a group of mass murdering demons and not think they'd ever deem you to be expendable? The Chairman just had an inflated ego, man.
I dont know i would like to see for a change ft to get himself really scrapped the last time i think they got quite scrapped where when they faced orion seis the 1rst time but no i would lke to see for the very 1rst time some agony in ft something that their stupid power of friendship will really got tested and not easy stuff
Didn't Face remind any of you of Berserk?? Anyways, I'm glad we got a glimpse.
