No Game No Life
Genre: Games, Adventure, Ecchi
Director: Ishizuka Atsuko
Series Composition: Hanada Jukki
Starring: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Kayano Ai, Hikasa Yoko
The story of No Game, No Life centers around Sora and Shiro, a brother and sister whose reputations as brilliant NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) hikikomori (shut-in) gamers have spawned urban legends all over the Internet. These two gamers even consider the real world as just another "crappy game." One day, they are summoned by a boy named "God" to an alternate world. There, God has prohibited war and declared this to be a world where "everything is decided by games"—even national borders. Humanity has been driven back into one remaining city by the other races. Will Sora and Shiro, the good-for-nothing brother and sister, become the "Saviors of Humanity" on this alternate world? "Well, let's start playing."
Discuss the Light Novel Here.
Probably the most stylish entry for a LN anime this season and a huge step up compared to the studios last anime, Magical Warfare.
Cast of Sakurasou here, how cute.
And the episode was pretty intriguing. I feel like very cool MCs might end up coming out of this one.
And that chess talent was awesome!
I watched many anime in which the characters consider the real world a crapy game, but I must admit that this the only one who made me really think about the Hikikimori problem in Japan....and that's the reason why I'm already in love with this anime.
The art is good, the plot seems to be interesting and all the characters seem to be likeable.
The first episode literally blew my mind and I do hope that the next ones will do the same.
Oh, and Shiro is so freaking adorable!!
Shiro... That voice... The long hair... Best new loli so far!
Pretty decent start. A world where everything is decided with a game and the main character is really cool. Winning in MMORPGS while playing 4 characters on his own at once... Holy shit.
Pretty sure this will turn into a battle of wits. We will see a lot of cheating me thinks.
That scene at the end though... First day and the naked granddaughter of the previous king already wants to enter your room? It could be worse...

Very good first episode, I liked of the main characters and the world when they were sent is also very interesting, something that would be the dream of most people. XD
That kind of world rises many question such as how death is deal with for example; by what they said you can gamble even your life and in the first game of Sora and Shiro they already gambled their lives, they are very confident. XD
Looking forward to see how their arriving will impact this world.
What an end...
Can Shiro please get an epic sister award? Breaking aapart just because he left the room... Damn those are some scary siscons/brocons
Mr. Steam huh? I love how he explains the censoring...
Why is Steph not dead after banging her head against every wall in the whole world?
Almost the whole episode was just hilarious. Best part was Shiro and Sora as well as Steph completely losing it...
The Janken game was great... Although I have to watch it again because I didn't understand it the first time...
The explanations about magic were nice and easy.
Those pledges are a nice thing... She fell in love the moment he wanted her to...
Anyway... Those siblings sure a close.
I get the feeling that they will be the rulers soon...
PS: Can I please have Shiros language learning skills?
So many things happened in this episode that I don't know where to begin.
I'll just start with the aftermath of the rock-paper scissor game; seriously, I've never laughed so hard in my life (well, I did that with D-frag and many others. XD) watching the MC asking Stephanie to fall in love with him, asking forgiveness from Shiro (who has been so freaking adorable in this episode, especially when she broke apart. ), fondling Steph's boobs and and then saying "panty shot". LOL
And the bath scene was equally hilarious. XD
As for the Steph, I'm already liking her, she's really funny and I found hilarious the moments in which she was trying to deal with her Steph-scope and love for the MC. XD
Now I'm looking forward to seeing how they will become the kings of Elkia.
"Nii, Omedetou. You are not a virgin anymore" Talk about pulling the trigger early.
That was some devilish genius displayed by Sora there. Still Mondaiji-tachi vibes, but have to say, Izayoi wasn't this hopeless when it came to girls
These rules are strict, he wished it and she fell for him, wow. You said everything, the episode was funny and the MCs are likable. Their communication disorder activates when they are separated.
I wonder what I would have played during that Janken match.
I like that Shiro is the pervy one

I can't wait for Jibril's introduction. She's the one in the lower right of the key art, posted in the OP.
Amazing describes this anime. Excellent main characters (I like the genius type) and gold comedy made this episode even better than the first one.
The rules are as they are stated, Sora and Shiro know it very well because they're genius. It was interesting how they build their relationship with Dora and now they are going to conquer the throne. Looking forward to see them playing another game.
PS: Best Rock-Paper-Scissor ever. XD
I really love this series. My favorite part is probably *spoiler*
They haven't even got to the best part of the show yet, though. Shame. But that's just "need to wait" problem, lol.
