Sinbad, Kouen, Armakan, Muu, Rametoto, Mira and Darius. Those are the best ... The rest are ... no comment
SHARKKAN FOR KING! He is a former prince after all, I would like to see how is kingdom would be .
Even better, Pisti for queen. I imagine her forcing her male subjects to like flat chested girls lol.
I don't know why you lot are against Muu.
We all have our own representation of what a "King Candidate" is right? Hakuei is also a great King Candidate because like what she did with the Kouga clan, she was able to made peacful negotiations or made a clan fall under her control without resorting to violence. As for Kouha, he gives light to the people who are considered failures and trash, the same thing with Alibaba. But Muu, I view his works as a different as others may see him. He might not be the cleverest of all the kings like Sinbad and Kouen, he might not be the greatest nor the strongest, but his loyalty to others and his love for his family and homeland is unlike any other. And his my husbando type so sorry folks
Lol husbando. I'm not against him per say, it's just that since he made that move against Sinbad, it seemed to me that he almost got too caught in the Scheherazade drama. I know that Sinbad can't be completely trusted, but right now what's best for Reim is to stay with the seven seas, which I'm not sure will happen now that Mu joined forces with Kouen. Besides I'm pretty sure that the summit won't change a thing to the situation: Kouen will not give up on uniting the world. So in the end Kou will continue to invade other countries, even Reim which frankly was strong only because Scheherazade was there to support it all these years. Now that she's gone it became a country of secondary importance, and it's not a bunch of air balloons and gunpowder that's going to change that fact. I know that this has little to do with his qualities as a king, but to me a king has also the duty to look for what's best for his country, in other words he must be a strategist too. Whether Mu's strategy will work or not only the next chapters will tell, but I think it will fail.
Besides he's my husbando. Along with Sinbad and Kouen

Sexy beastKouen. Why? Because out of all the king candidates, he's the closest to my type
Joking aside, when Kouen first appeared, he looked like a mad final boss and I was certain I'll hate his guts. To my surprise, the more I learned about Kouen, the more I came to like him. He really cares for his brothers and sisters despite the fact they were conceived by different mothers. He's not as power hungry as he first seemed and acknowledges that it's Hakuryuu's birthright to be emperor. Though, Hakuryuu's hatred that might end up destroying the empire is what makes him unfit in his eyes. While Balbadd and Koumei's policy isn't my idea of an ideal country, I still think Kouen would be a righteous and loved king and his talk with Alibaba sums up why he's my favorite character.
On a side note, after his talk with Alibaba, I'm itching to know his backstory with Hakutoku and the Haku siblings. I find it interesting how Kouen turned out to be a decent man even though his father was the epitome of corruption, which makes me think his uncle and cousins might have had quite an impact on him and were his role-models.
2) Mira Dianus. Simply because in her country, woman is boss :P
3) Sinbad. Much like Kouen, he's pretty capable, righteous and does what he thinks is the best for his country, which turned out to be quite prosperous.

I still don't understand what a kind candidate is, it hasn't been explained in the manga either.
As king the most competent is Sinbad by far. He's the most charismatic and powerful, and i think he is smarter than the rest. But he's my favorite character so I'm a little biased
And The Kou empire ideals are so stupid that i can't take any of their king candidates seriously, even Hakuryuu thought the whole idea of unifying the world by war was unreasonable
The best for me is Sinbad and the next is Hakuei Ren. Sinbad is a good leader and thinks for the good of his city, though he is willing to destroy the others because of it. Hakuei Ren is not much compared to Sinbad but she has something Sinbad doesn't seem to have much of, Feelings.
cool yet crazyKing, Ren Kouen!
I love Kouen since the first time I saw him (fall in love in first sight!). No, this isn't the reason lol. Maybe he's crazy of knowledge and want to be a King. Put that aside, I think him as a good child in the first, devoted to die for his country and serving that lord (even before his childhood dream revealed). It can be his thirsty of knowledge only a hobby. But as situation changed, he should changed or he would be left behind. That's why he grew into a tyrant person. And we saw many kind side of him, right? Like he gave an advice to Alibaba, didn't fond on siblings quarrel, and said Hakuryuu as a righteous king for Kou Empire.
But I don't think he fitted the position as a King, I just hope he didn't die in the end.
Very sad yet coolAlibaba!
My very first lover in this manga. I like his development character and Djinn Equip. For me, Alibaba will be the right King, accompanied by Morgiana and Aladdin, of course! Just the only side of him that I didn't like is.... He is very bad with women.
Cute and LoyalMuu~!
Okay, I saw everyone here said bad about Muu. It made me sad, because he only did the best for his country
and master, Scheherazade. In the end, he will do whatever to protect his country, even if it's betraying a good relation with a person. Like another series of this Dirty Hands lol
To put others, I like all King Candidates except Sinbad. For second thought, Kouha and Hakuei placed in 4th and Kougyoku in 5th. Just don't put it because this will be very long.
I strongly suspect that Koutoku was not unlike Alibaba's father; a man slut unexpectedly forced into a position he was capable of filling, but has neither the resolve or the will to excel at the job.

I think Kouen, Koumei, and Kouha are rather interested in not being like they're father in the same way Alibaba is. At the very least Ohtaka has not portrayed them as being especially interested in women on a general basis. At the absolute most, Kouha propositioned Junjun in what seemed like a bid to build her self-confidence.
The worst/best kings as far as being parents/spouses goes like this;
Rashid Saluja, Alibaba's pops, had numerous affairs, raised two incompetent and loathsome sons, and exiled the third son and his mother to a life in the slums where she ultimately died after being beaten to near death. Despite proclaiming to love her, he refused to fight for her and the well being of his child.
King Solomon. Completely oblivious to Sheba's advances. Doesn't think twice about placing her and their son in danger. Ultimately decides he should be god, abandoning his wife and child until the end of the world.
Ren Gyokuen. Seemed to have been the perfect queen and mother...right up until she killed her husband and two eldest sons, mind screwing the 3rd, but sparring her daughter the same grief. Her children seem to be exceptional people with good and loving upbringings...again aside from the murders and mind screwing.
King David. Had one son, was not said to have had a wife. Wasn't a right bastard toward or particularly neglectful of his son. Solomon turned out to be a douche bag on his own it would seem.
Queen Mira Dianius. Collects husbands. Began having daughters well before she was even 15 years old. Has been a bad influence on her youngest daughter, who she doesn't seem to especially care about. A very scary lady if you're a man that's caught her interest.
Emperor Koutoko. Had 10 children by various women. His children range from exceptional to exceptionally quirky. Either he's not especially neglectful or the Kou Empire is very good at looking after it's heirs. His children do not seem to be resentful of him, nor are they horrible people. His wives and consorts are likely cared for as well, since Kouha's was said to have gone crazy, but they did not exile or abuse her and she was able to recover...sorta.
King Sinbad. Has not yet had any children (that we know of). Is a notorious flirt, has stated he has no intention of getting married, literally no woman is safe from him his advances...but a lot of it seems to be fun and games to him. He's a flirt, but may not qualify as a slut.
King Rametoto. Has the best god damn daughter ever, and is fatally concerned with her landing a good man. Best. Dad. Ever.
Emperor Hakutoto. Near universally praised. Likely remained faithful to his wife. Had 4 gorgeous and wonderful children that all admired him.
