Nigeria doesn't have anything to be ashamed of, they played very well, but France, too. Until 30 minutes of 2nd half Nigeria dominated the match, but France decided to play and made a goal, from there on Nigeria was not the same and it was dominated.
I accept France qualification. It can't be helped.
Valbuena is MVP now, this match and he can deliver for France overall, Pogba also nice, this team is looking very good. The true test is Germany in the 1/4 finals.
After groups only makes everything easier, it would be kinda boring if it was that way. I didn't just ¨guess¨ that Chile would end up second for example, I watched them play and knew they had a better present than Spain. In the end luck has something to do with it (who the fck would say that Costa Rica > Italy and England) but it's far from being everything.

And no, Uruguay without him would had prolly qualified anyway. Getting the 5th spot in our qualy would had been the hard part, but the playoffs against Jordan (or wtv they are called in English) were a walk in the park.
I said that I want African teams to be a good opponent for the European teams today, I expect nothing less from Algeria but as I expect Germany to even make the semis I can not, NOT make a statement where I want them to advance, even more so that far stronger teams than Algeria await in a possible semi final or final ....
That's obviously what I was saying.Quote:
What we do know is that Uruguay with Suarez = 3 win and Uruguay without suarez = 2 defeats. It is the kind of player that can do a difference by himself.
