Hello members of the OP forum as well as all members in general. We the staff have had an idea of writing a "get well" letter to our own Eiichiro Oda and sending it to him personally. Use this thread to submit your ideas and get well wishes to our mangaka, we will also be holding an event very soon about this so be on the look out, these 2 weeks we will all dedicate them to Oda and hope for his health to continue to be good, and as long as he is healthy we are happy.
Anything you can write up, tape or draw can be sent to Oda, the best ideas are always welcome, we can later choose on what we can as well as compile all idea into one.
In the hopes this all goes well, no certain confirmation of the sending of this letter/mail to Oda as of yet can be said, this is just a thread to get this going as well as a promotion idea for the event to follow, so go ahead, as soon as we are certain to send the idea we will post, for now we can use all the ideas and stuff you may have!
Final contestants (number of first round votes): Emporio Ivankov (12), Tony Tony Chopper (6), Trafalgar Law (5), Sadi-chan (5), Kureha (4), Violet (4), Monkey D. Garp (4), Dr. Vegapunk (4), Koala (4).
Final vote: Tony Tony Chopper (6), Emporio Ivankov (3), Kureha (2), Sadi-chan (2), Trafalgar Law (1), Dr. Vegapunk (0), Koala (0), Monkey D. Garp (0), Violet (0).

What about objects/packages?
Prosthetic rubber tonsils.
A Stretch Armstrong wearing a hospital gown.
A doctor's pamphlet on Appendicitis, for the next time he gets sick and needs surgery...
Get well soon Oda! I'm gonna go smoke a cigarette in your honor!
we could send him a straw hat full of whatever cool or funny stuff...
and I thought we could make some sort of collection of the best one piece pages and put it on a A2 paper...and on the back everyone would write his/her best wishes to him and his/her signature...
or we can make a notebook with everyones fav one piece scenes and the back of the pages should contain a best wish comment and the signature...or our MH avys/names and comment...I dunno...
Maybe we should send him a drawing of the SH in the hospital, and Chopper and Law could be the doctors. The tone should be funny, for example Sanji and Brook could gawk at the nurses, Zoro would be asleep as usual, Luffy would complain about the food etc...

This sounds like fun, I'd definitely be willing to contribute!
Could we possibly send something to WSJ...?. That way, any ideas we come up with, will go directly to Oda. It's possible that, there's already something like that coming up in the next couple of issues of Jump.
From me personally, I'd like, Oda to take a long vacation for awhile and come back, when he's fully recovered enough. And I imagine he has a family too and there's nothing more important than that.
You can make, take a photo of and post here of whatever you can put your effort into, we may need something collectively tho, so in the end we would probably agree on one thing, or what the majority wants, we will vote on it. For now all these ideas are smashing \o/ We can mail to him directly or we can use WSJ, directly has more meaning, WSJ is for advertizing purposes, I would prefer directly, but I think WSJ might have as FetherMan said something coming up in it about that.^^
So yes, more "collective" ideas would do fine, something that can have the stamp and mark of the whole community.^^ keep them coming guys and look forward to the event that will take place in the OP section very soon related to this!
If it's collective will it be something digital?
How about a letter with a message from every op fan in mh?
And I like ladylolas idea too!
how about #getwellODA on facebook ?

pls post it now on your fb account.
Often times, hand-made gifts are all about "thoughts," but 千羽鶴(senbazuru, thousand origami cranes) are still considered to be the ultimate gift in Japan to wish for someone's recovery from illness. Here is the wiki [link].
Since most members neither know how to make them or have ways to deliver them, I thought it
maymight be nice to replace the origami cranes with 1,000 messages followed byafter small images of cranes. Instead of using black dots as bullets, use small crane images.

We can choose a collage of drawings from fans or choose one and have a one line message from all fans with it... that would be a good way to show respect and well wishes...
the get well card should have a picture of chopper and law on it , since they are the most well known medics from OP
