But Like I said before Kazuku never claims immortality just that he's hard to kill anyway just because you can't be killed by mortal wounds dosen't mean you can't die like I said before we have no idea how Hidan ages
Immortal=cant die Hidan is immortal compared to any naruto character
perhaps hidan is already dead, because he starved. i think hidan only said, you just can't kill him. but maybe hidan is still alive and somehow manages to get out of this hole.^^Quote:
though kakuzu is very hard to kill, i also wouldn't call him immortal (i think he's dead anyway)Quote:
sasori also was killed, i think he was the furthest from immortality
IMO, orochimaru has somehow achieved immrtality. even if he himself might be dead, he lived in sasuke and now lives in kabuto. i think he isnn't really a person anymore, he is kind of a parasite, but i think he didn't die completely by now.
Kakuzu was, as far as we know, by far the oldest. And since we don't know if Hidan ages I would call him invincible.
Most people think of a veeeery old person if they are thinking about an immortal. So from this point of view Kakuzu was the closest to immortality.
Sasori was the closest in the fact he would always be able to live even without a body
Orochimaru was the furtherest because sooner or later he'll run out of bodies or be over powered or be killed by a weapon that destroy souls which happened and officially killed him from what Itachi said

i think we first have to make clear, what we consider to be true immortality. is it not to die by aging or does it mean, that you can't be killed. plus we don't know everything about every character. did hidan suffocate in his earth hole or does he liive on? one reason for me to say that oro is the closest, is that he's the only one of the list at the beginning of the thread who still kind of lives(beside madara, but we know too few about him). we often thougt that oro is dead, but he always remained somehow.
a completely different question i have on this topic: you say that hidan got his immmrtality because of his religion. how far do you think that here a real god interferes? or do you think he just used jutsus from a leader of a sect or dark arts or something like this?
