Sorry, I thought I was only one day late When I posted the messsage I dled it only since some hours, did you get the chapter directely from genesis site/irc channel? About the french scanlations of the last volumes of the serie do you remember the site or where could I find them?Originally Posted by eni
Yeah, I usually get them from Genesis the same day when it is out^^ ... I know it's not a extraordinary Manga, but I really like it.Originally Posted by Luckas04
The french site is this: http://www.sdkpowaaa.com/spoil/scans-trads.htm (french translation!)
And here are the last chapters/volumes translated/scanlated in english: http://www.hana-mi.net/mibu/trans.html
I prefer to read it in a proper order, but I already peeped at some later raws and I caaaaan't wait to read the last one ... Genesis lacks of help (Editors, QCs), so the scanlation is a little bit slow, but I'm so glad that at least they're doing it
I love this manga. I believed the scanlation was one man effort, so I was glad they continued to go out, I didn't know they formed another group.Originally Posted by eni
Did you see the anime? It has an end, and the development of the plot is different from the manga. But I don't know if it spoils the end of the manga or it reveals some secrets, but I believe it does that.
There are a lot of volume in those site, unfortunately they are too distant from where I am.
I'm not sure. Didn't Mangass started the scanlation and the founder of it continued as Genesis scanlations? ... I'm not paying that much attention to the groups, sry^^Originally Posted by Luckas04
hm, I don't know. 307 chapter in 26 episodes? That's not possible without a lot of changes, hm?Originally Posted by Luckas04
Only thing I know is, that the background behind Kyos and Kyoshiros Co-existence is different in the anime. But I don't know the end or how much the anime spoils. Just watched a few episodes, then my exames started and I hadn't enough time to continue it. Animation, Seiyuu and OST were nice, but I'm not a big fan of different developments and I don't want to spoil myself any further. So I will re-watch the whole thing when I finished the manga.
The anime is ... ehm ... dunno ... love it or hate it, like the manga. I know some people who hate the anime and love the Manga and I know ppl who love both or hate both - I don't know anyone who loves the anime and hates the manga, btw.
Probably I pay less attention than you, but I read something in a page in the manga, but I thought the founder continued alone, not knowing he started another group. Maybe when I started reading SDK, that already happened so I didn't saw a slowing of the release and I didn't notice that until I reached the last scanlated chapters. However it isn't so important.Originally Posted by eni
I saw the anime because I was stunned by the first episode, so I have to see the rest. I didn't mean that the anime is better than the manga or it didn't skip events, but only that seeing it I think I caught a glimpse of the way the manga will go towards the end. And even if the anime isn't exceptional, the end is interesting, I think many could like it.
is it just me or i think some groups already finished this seriesOriginally Posted by ttxdragon
no group has finished scanlating all 32(iirc) volumes they are around vol. 13 or so right now...Originally Posted by baroncramhead
for myself i wait for Heyne (german publisher) to release the volumes ^^
they publish one volume per month and their quality is really high.
no disrespect, but other group have finished scanlating this series and the complete series is already available in some website called animep.unix ever since last august that's the reason why i said this series is "done"Originally Posted by ttxdragon
How about giving a proper link to that site. I can't find it through google.Originally Posted by baroncramhead
but the server is currently down so i'm uploading what i have in my hd now
anyone know anysite that i could upload this file into, b/c it's gonna took me about 78 min to upload 52 meg to rapidshare
Ok, I know this page. But they mix scanlated and raw manga, so you have to pay attention to this
Take a look:
Vol1-13 and vol33-37 are scanlated ones. I'm not sure about vol38, but it should be incomplete like vol13. Genesis is currently scanlating vol13 and Hana Mi is doing the upper ones, currently 30-32 in progress.
So, vol28 is japanese, vol29-32 are chinese and vol14-27 are missing. It's not complete there
sorry about that then, i guess i said that it's done since i only need the scan from vol 33- 38 since that's the only volumes that i need to complete the series
Genisis (sp?) is still working on it. But I stopped getting their scans since Tokyopop is ahead of them and has been since I started reading this series. Tokyopop has released through vol 20.
