I updated the first post with all the HQ covers for 2010 that I could find.
Honestly, I think Rinne is a good contender for the next Anime. No matter what, it will eventually get an Anime adaption, but it should be getting one soon. There's an endless potential for filler, so there's no worries if it ever catches up to the manga.
Magi ranking so highly really makes me want to see what it is about.
Onidere keeping this up is making me sad. Although I look forward to Hayate color next week,
Sadly, Rumiko Takahashi can get an anime off of her name alone. They will probably jump at the chance to animate her latest series in a year.
Kunisaki Izumo no Jijô high once again. Defense Devil is kinda low.
Yay discussion!! Yeah, I don't really think Arata would get one but I think it'd be pretty cool animated. Moonlight Act definitely should get one.
Aoizaka Koukou is an odd series if there ever was one. It interests me sometimes but never enough to look at it weekly, and somehow they're always playing an important baseball game. Cross Game on the other hand always had side stories.
And Defense Devil is good so they put it in the back so people will look at the other series there. Or it's a little more mature than what's in the front of the magazine. That's what I've noticed about the magazine.
While it's not WSS related directly, I wanted to point out that Nakayama Atsushi (Traumeister) did a one shot for the Sunday Super magazine; 'Susaido of Love' (I THINK that's how it would be written...) No raws have surfaced anywhere, but you can be sure I'll be on it if any should. I really think he should go into Seinen next, even if it means I wouldn't be able to read it. :-P
On the subject of anime, to be fair I don't have time to read anything in the mag other than Aku, and I'd say that has at least another year before we can even speculate about it. I like that Wakaki is finally getting an anime, although I would have preferred his first series to the current one. (I dislike harem/romance). For sure, Anzai's work will get one eventually, as the other two he did in Sunday did. Same goes for Takahashi. One thing I would like to see is an Acro anime, even if it is over. Club sunday still rates it as a hugely popular series, and if Buso Renkin can get a post mortem anime, Sunday can pull one out too....right?
Kunisaki Izumo no Jijô (Color)
Pretty nice Conan cover.
The Onidere color for this coming week gives me hope it is not being sent to the scrap heap yet.
About time there's a boy band on the cover of Sunday. Plenty of girls and models but I don't believe there's been a guy on the cover since I started looking in '05.
Nakayama (Traumeister) Atsushi's new oneshot Koi no Suicide. Whacked out, but that's his style. Come back soon Nakayama-sensei!
How many chapters has Defense Devil in Japan? And Rinne?
As of right now (double issue #22-23), both have 47.
Um, Defense Devil is Chapter 48. Rinne is Chapter 47.
