Well, I've put together 3 chinese arts. For those of you who go to my DA, you should know about the bamboo already. I'm adding in another 2 this time around, namely, the cherry blossom and the calcite mountains in China. I've been enjoying Chinese Art of a long time so I feel like sharing with you all. Enjoy! Springtime of Youth
wow, these are very impressive. I like the flow that the bamboo or trees and whatnot has. The mountains look like they are water spouts, sort of, and it continues the natural flow of the ink. I have always liked east asian ink works and i wish i could do them. Maybe something to consider for college.
I saw the title "Springtime of Youth" and immeadiately thought of Gai and Lee XD
I really like the first one, especially how the plant stem is scetioned off. It's smooth ^^.
And I like the little birdie in the corner of the picture ^^
i know from experience that watercolor is a very difficult medium to control and you do it really well!!!
It is hard to control watercolor if you don't know the right amount of water to be used.
Once I thought of posting the picture, the only thing that came to my mind was spring. And I thought, why not make it Springtime of Youth? And there you have it, my own version of Rock Lee-themed art. XD
Leen, I'm fucking impressed.
I actually saved all three into the pc. I love the springtime of youth the most. All together, they put the prettiest art I have seen in a while.
Reminds me of Mulan, so I'm happy. XD
Damn eileen that looks really awesome...absolutely love it!
WOW ur good!!!
Thanks. I can actually do more of those arts if only I have a scanner with me now....... and brushes of course..... =/
Just saw this thread now, and I was very impressed. Having taken Chinese and Japanese art history classes, I was immediately reminded of some of the old paintings. Good work Eileen.
