For this 驕れる means "to be proud" and 霊長類 means "primates", so yeah I guess that's what Hisshou was getting across with that.Quote:
On this one, since it's a continuation from the previous lines regarding it's CG, NHK is known for showing news that can be trusted. It's sole purpose is pretty much *to* show news, and so when the guy says "They even showed it on NHK" For you to get what he's saying I had to put it that way. (Since you wouldn't know without knowing about japan more) Further- theQuote:
The important part is と一緒だッて (It's not と一緒に which would give you Hisshou's line) but he's saying the stuff on the news was CG like the opening ceremony of the olympics was CG, proving that even NHK shows "fake" stuff on the news.
Yeah with Hisshou's you don't quite get that the same kind of "Event" is happening all over the world.Quote:
The same kind of thing
Well 都市伝説 = urban legend so~Quote:
Don't know where the stage part would come from (maybe an american thing?) butQuote:
This is fine how it is. He really does say he wants to kill him, but i think Hisshou's is phrased a bit better~Quote:
want to kill
強力な軍備 A powerful arsenalQuote:
持ッてる者 those that have
地上を支配する will control the land
all there is to it. No descending, no invading. Just those with power controlling.
Don't know when it'll come!
seem complete to me~
The アパートに is referring to them attacking/going to, not living.
Then Kurono goes to say he wonders if they live there...
Natsu tells her bf "Look, it's kurono-kun"Quote:
look~ see~ etc
わーッてる = わかってる = I know
忘れねーーッて = I won't forget
He's saying, you don't need to remind me, I haven't forgotten what he looks like.
Yep~ seems like Hisshou forgot the "ちょッと意外かも・・・"Quote:
A low level girlfriend
is heart warming
you guys look great together.
(I added the as much as you part to help with the "お似合い", maybe that was a bit too much )
Looks like i forgot the "なんで" part ><Quote:
literally it does sayQuote:
Seems like Hisshou read 待つ as 持つ ><Quote:
Which would give you his trans~
I know I know >< I should have more time to do that here in the next few daysQuote:
Yeah, I never went back and redid the Ryou chapter once a non-cam raw came out, so the mistakes you've pointed out are indeed wrong or off.
So a few extra points:
Chest-beating is what apes do when they're trying to show off or intimidate one another. Apes are primates.
I wasn't sure what they were going for with と一緒 originally, although later on i figured if they meant "being aired against" there would've been a 対 in there somewhere, I guess I never went back and changed it.
Yeah, a stage show. You know, like at Vegas or Disney, where you see them do everything live.
Aaaaaand... don't really see any difference on the "insulting the living hell out of poor Tae" part :P

So no disagreements with the other parts? (ones that didn't have the crappy cam raw~)
and Tae ;.; don't be meaner than necessary to her!
I like that translation of it better. "Low level girlfriend" gets the point across, and sounds cooler.Quote:
Perhaps you could include a literal translation in future releases. That'd be interesting.
In chapter 247, a guy who read it in Japanese, says something different than what the fansubs I've seen say happened.
Did they not fight because Reika said it was too dangerous, or because those people told them not to?
And did Sakata say that it was impossible to all come back together, so they shouldn't try, or did he simply say he thought it cheapened death, so no one should bother trying to be revived?
I am in need of a translator for Gantz, I am doing speed scanlations for this manga being that this manga needs to be translated at a much faster rate.
If you can help, or perhaps join my Manga Team it would very much be appreciated.
In chapter 68, 74, 75, 76 and 81 (Hawks/Omanga) of the Buddha temple mission, all the alien language bubbles have been translated, while shocwave leaves them in hiragana in the following chapters. However, those translations are pretty weird (there are lines like "perpoer thizylf" or something like that, wich probably stands for "prepare thyself"). The thing is, I'm working for a German scanlation group (Onegai) and we cannot decipher all of these lines, nor do we have any clue if those translations are correct. And the only thing we could do for the alien language bubbles from volume 8 is to transcribe them.
Do you think you or anyone else could help me with that issue?
English translation (Omanga, Hawks):
Whyt thert dogin mest stund fahr ghud.
Shlod thare naw goe too hael.
(What they doing meets...far good.
Should they now go to hell. ???)
(Note: Funky Buddha Talk)
So what is the truth? Is it just a made up language or actually something that is encrypted?

So I just noticed that Kei's email is kei-chrono@ya[hoo.com]. Did Oku intend for his name to be romanized as Chrono? Or is this just a scanlation invention?
