No increase here though...the tankoubon still cost 45 THB (approximately 1.34 USD) here... .-.
That's like 91 €-Cent, so you get them for 5,59€ ($8.32 / 276THB) less...
Nope...I'm saying that the tankoubon sold in my country is around that price...1.34 USD per volume... .-.
U.S. also had a price increase for some series. Jump Comics (VIZ Shonen Jump) were $7.99 and increased to $9.99 this month. VIZ Shojo Beat were already $9.99, VIZ Signature (seinen and josei) cost $12.99. Yen Press, Tokyopop, and Del Ray (all things Kodansha) manga usually cost $10.99. Dark Horse's prices change from series to series.
Usually around 7 euros here.

Manga isnt sold here everywhere, but I checked at a library that does, and cost $10 each volume; pretty darn much if you ask, mostly if you go for a long series
If you buy english volume's here, it's about 1-2 euro's cheaper then you'd pay for their original price.
For manga translated in my language you'll pay around 2/3 euro's. (With the exact quality as the original versions of the volume's, so that's pretty neat.)
Manga imported from Mexico can cost between $7.00 and $10.00, depending on the seller.
In my country usually they make things like this:
If a volume costs $9,00 then it will cost around €9 but I'm not sure that WSJ manga follows that rule. Because Naruto cost around €7,55 and I don't know abou USA.
Mangas are offcially priced at £7 (GBP) in the UK , but couple of years ago, you can easily find them at below £5 on amazon. Nowadays, it's closer to £6 then £6. We just get the american version.
Chinese editions are cheaper then the Japanese versions, by about 20-30%, and I'm talking about the legal versions too. But the quality isn't up to scratch with the Japanese edition, they do have dust covers and the format is exactly the same as japanese, but the type setting and paper quality is quite meh. Even Chinese manga costs more now, this year mangas are 10% more expensive then last year. I guess they're cheap to collect at the end of the day, and you still support the original artist.
