wow epic cover man!! i was definetly wrong about bonney and kidd's hair colours...AND killer's, though the others are pretty much as i had imagined...
apoo's costume colour is also a bit off from what i ahd imagined; i thought it would have been black with other colours, but pink? oda really knows how to throw people off track...
Don't know what to say. The cover is awesome xD
Oda make a excellent job in this cover. And how he want the colors of the Supernovas, just like not happen with Kuma he planned Kuma with different colors from the anime!
WOOOOOWWWW!!! oda really has changed the way he did covers, it's a long way from when he used to always frame the picture
Wow, too! Thanks Guts!
This arc with Ray was definatelly one of the best, though every arc is one of the best!
But this we came to know who is the legendary first mate of the Pirate King.
And his designs and colours are great, excellent Oda!
Yeah, the colors for Rayleigh look great. Really nice cover. What I'm a bit surprised about is that neither Kizaru nor Kuma (PK) is in there. Not that I dislike a cover featuring all the Straw Hats, but it's still a bit odd.
you're right it's weird, there is also no shakky, tenryuubito, slavery-stuff, duval and so on.
well at least for the next cover we can be pretty sure, can we?
But awesome cover indeed, Rayleigh looks awesome. I actually think it is nice to see all the SH in the cover once in a while. But I'm just sick of the pink backgrounds. OP covers (backgrounds) are usually so bright and colorful that my eyes hurt
Volume 51's background was blue, volume 50's was black, volume 49's was green, and volume 48's was also blue, and volume 47's was black and white. That's every volume in the last year, and none of them were pink.
As to the cover, well, I certainly expected Kizaru and Sentomaru, and probably a Paxifista too, but I'm not gonna complain about them not being here. I don't NEED to see their colors right now. The happy Straw Hats shot is nice, but only if the volume ends at 513. Then it's just so... poignant. The happy, united crew... now scattered across the world. The title... seems a poor choice, since the Roger-Rayleigh bits take up about a chapter and a half. "An Island at War" would've been better. It all seems rather anti-climactic, considering what could've been done with this volume. Not bad, just... not as good as I expected it to be.
Hi, I'm Sebastian, A danish guy, I have collected the books in differnt languses...
Here (Denmark) all the book has a blue cover, except vol 41, (44, 46 and 47 is gonna get to) which is the newest book here... It's the same for germany and sweeden.
Our books are a little bigger then the Japanse ones...
Would any one want me to make a picture?
@Monkey D. Scar, The book you're showing is france as you said, the reason for the missing colours is that they're released with a flipover cover, which is coloured... The france books is even bigger then the Scandinavian/German books...
I'm an idiot... It looked like book 18 with ace... (Yeah, I never look clooser...)
The france have these green covers right? (Now I'm sitting with one next to me, not to say something supid)
By bigger I mean the phycal size... Like... Centimeters...
(My english kind of suck...)
But I Denmark we translate from german...
Released In Germany = 48 (Just ordered the 48 from amazon)
Released In Sweeden = 45
Released In Denmark = 41
Released In Norway = No idea...
