Or, LeBron just isn't that good a player when he's not flopping and all.
you if ask kobe he probably you say that Lebron is more of a passer, doesn't have the eff u mode to score that is hard to guard one to one
Funny thing is, in NBA 2K13, you're more likely to see LeBron passing than Kobe.
That's a videogame
Could mirror real life? I dunno, but I don't remember anyone saying LeBron is a ball hog like a lot say about Kobe.
I remember people calling him that back in his Cavs days. When he really doesn't have much players to pass on and pretty much carried the whole team in offense. And James is just too good a passer to not pass considering the talents that surround him in Miami.
It's kind of a recurring theme to see people praising LeBron's passing game, dismissing him as a scorer and forgetting that he can score at will too... although with a different set of skills
Kobe himself said a couple of times that Lebron is more of a passer...

and to clarify, I'm not a fan of him
He's a good scorer.. and a very efficient one
but he's not a the classical scorer with a lot a moves... he's a great spot up shoter and he can get to the basket and fishish with ease, since he's faster and stronger then almost everyone, has a very good handle and can fishish with both hands.
The "great scorers" are the guys who can kill you with on you face shots, on the post, from mid range, etc. The guys who have a lot of moves and counters.
It's not about the ppg or the FG%... it's about the perception, and perception can be very misleading
oh all those lebron post, you guys love him
anyway i know pre season game doesn't mean anything but so far houston doesn't seems impressive.
I think they are fine. Not that explosive yet, but hey, the coaching staff still needs to figure out different line-ups they'll use for the season so I'll give them time.
Speaking of preseason impressiveness, Derrick Rose is playing great. If I were a fan, I'll be so excited for the Chicago Bulls this upcoming season.
And oh, this is gold.
Yeah, with the season about to start, looking forward to how teams like Pistons will progress or how teams like Warriors will make the next stage. As a European (sort of), I'm cheering for Nedovic to be impactful, although there is plenty of competition in backcourt rotation. Twin towering Pistons will keep improving, unless Jennings becomes a cancer that is too much to handle.
