Steph Curry missing? Is this a joke
So, he's finally leading a winning team, averages 20.9 and 6.6 on 45% 3PFG and he isn't getting a selection?
That's the reason I haven't watched the all-star game in the last decade.

Meanwhile, Rondo registered his 4th triple-double in the last 10 games (3rd in the last seven, back-to-back in the last two).
He might have already entered an elite-club by registering back-to-back triple-doubles in back-to-back losses.
16.8, 10.5, 7.8 in the six-game losing streak is perhaps as good as a player can get in such a messy situation.

Rondo out indefinitely with a torn ACL. Jinxed by me.
I wish him a quick recovery.

Cs won and that's the consolation prize for losing the final chance to compete this season.
wow... That's really bad new tor the Cs. And he won't be at full strength until the later half of the next season.
Anyway, what's wrong with the lakers? they just beat the Thunder, kobe with 2 straight games of 14ast. That's not like the lakers this season at all!

There goes our season smh great just fucking great
Rondo out of the Season because of torned ACL
It's crazy that he had a torn ACL. Generally, it's the type of injury where you are carried off the court on a stretcher, but he ended the previous game, walked around for a day or two, got to the warm-up for the next game and felt some pain.
It may not be as serious as the one happened to Rose in that sense. Good news for the long term?
I remember a time when the football player Henrik Larsson played for the Barcelona. He injured his knee on a game, come back and kept playing for 30+ minutes until they sub him out
on the other say it was revelated that he had a torn ACL
Now it could be the same for Rondo. Is it possible to think the guards are more prone to it, since their movements involve a lot of quick change of directions? Or is this just a pattern of coincidence here?
The thing about the ACL is that it gives the support for the knee. Without it the knee gets loose and you can't generate the proper power for jumps and twists, not to mention that the MCL gets unprotected, especially on twists. That's why Djaun Blair is such a freak on the nature(he don't have his ACLs)
On the majority of the times, the injury is really painful and the guy can't any weight on it.
Abouyt the guards... I'm not sure. I think thata "highflyers" are more prone to the injury simple because they put more tension on it when they're falling down, so the chance of stepping on someone else foot or landing awkwardly is bigger(like Tony Allen injury). But the injury can be about of nowhere, like Nenad Krstic's one. He was just twistting on the low post, but his foot kind of "glued" on the floor and his knee was gone. Rubio's one was pretty strange too, he was just trying to trap kobe, got in a small collision and missed the rest of the season.
That's the typical 2 year injury.. the guys usually are back on the court "just" 7~8 months after the injury, but it takes almost one more year for the knee and the mind to be on full strength. Guys tend to be afraid to do some moves or try to overcompensate with the other knee.
