This is great. No more clones! With Kaidoh gone, the only person with a similar play style will be Yagyuu. It's like the transition from Melee to Brawl.
Kaidoh gone, Yagyuu stays.
Gakuto gone, Kikumaru stays.
Taka gone, Gin stays.
Side note: Lol@Krauser

This picture is going to become true:
http://static.minitokyo.net/view/37/08/380437.jpg (that means that Yukimira will lose)
It´s good that we don´t have clons, but, for example, Oishi and Nioh weren´t clons, and I think they could fit very well in the new Japan team :a doubles expert (he was the brain of the Golden Pair, don´t forget it), and a trickster (of course Momo isn´t going to continue, he's gonna play vs ryoma and with kaidoh out, because mamushi plays vs tezuka, we won´t miss him).
I think that the winneres of this matches,Yagyyu, Oshitari and Kukimaru (Eiji of course) are going to play doubles, paired with Bunta.
Far too many All Round type of players in that picture to make a good team make up in my opinion. Atobe, Echizen, Tezuka, Akutsu (very offensive, but all rounder nontheless, just like Echizen and even Nanjirou), and Sanada. The picture is missing a Net Speciallist (Kikumaru), and a Strategist (Sadaharu I'd guess and hope. Love the character, although it would be awesome to also have Renji around as well... no idea how Kirihara would beat him, but he most likely will because he's always been a "main character" in the Rikkai team...). Hard to tell why they'd have Gin there for a power player if they have Kentarou tho lol. Not to mention also that with both Niou and Momoshiro gone, they're out of tricksters as well (its not like Momo will beat Ryoma ~_~), and two geniuses/counter specialists in Fuji and Oshitari. What a strange group they're making up, with a lot of people with same playstyle. Different techniques and personalities, but same playstyles nontheless.
So Nioh was injured...i wonder if thats why he lost...Inui picked Mizuki out of randomness...Kaido had a death wish lol
Yuki and Sanada deserve like 3 months worth of chapters...
Also...ROFL at this one..the flame wars about Mewtwo and Roy being gone still give me nightmares..Quote:

Krauser just gained a fan.
"Is that your real hair?"
Also, GO SHINJI! DON'T YOU DARE LOSE! I BET ON YOU!
...Even though I have a horrible feeling Kamio is going to win.
Wow, Gakuto really has poor stamina not begin able to last a tiebreak.
Well, this is more of a drama fest than matches anyway. ( Sweat and blood everywhere ) I guess thats the point with the mental matches they set up.
I dont wants Yukimura to looose T___T The picture tells something else, so this is bad T_T... And Niou is gone too D=!! And he even got hurt, but didn't win anyway. Not fair! But kinda surprised about the thing with Oshitari and Gakuto. I had expected that Gakuto at least would have gotten 1 point o_o..
LOL! I'm starting to like Krauser even more and more XD Which country do you think he is from? He is from a school of foreigners, right?
If Wolfgang Krauser from The SNK games is any indicative...then he is German...which is awesome..
And Yuki looks like he's on his way out, also Konomi said Oshitari was a double specialist but he's obviously a singles master...not even one point...
We seem to be seeing the players in the exact order they were listed in the match up.
Now that it's just tie-breaks I can see now how Konomi can make some of the wins that people have to get more believable.
Wouldn't surprise me...they all spoke English but came from various ethnic backgrounds so perhaps they are Americans..OR Nagoya Seitoku must have some crazy resources to go around Europe finding tennis prodigies...

Sanada develops a Rai serve, and that's how he beats Yukimura in tie-break games.
2)make an excuse for Yukimura losing.
I'm guessing Yukimura will be "not entirely cured from his mysterious disease" and suddenly faint. That would be a dramatic(though cheap) way to finish the match.
Yeah, that's my prediction. Yukimura loses due to deus ex machina.
Because it would be cheap to make him lose his match despite all the hype about him, and Sanada is far too popular to be eliminated.
Therefore, I am predicting Sanada's win through deus ex machina, not through a technique.
Some of Konomi's crazier moves are deus ex machina.
But now that it's a tie-break all Sanada needs is one well placed move. He doesn't need to beat Yuki over and over, just break his service point once. It'll be much easier on Konomi.
I could also see him laming out with the disease. But I don't get that feel from this next chapter. Could be wrong. But I don't see Yuki collapsing or Sanada overpowering or strictly outplaying Yuki(meaning coming up with something Yukimura can't deal with), but rather striking with an unexpected move for a surprise victory.
So I guess my prediction is Sanada wins by hitting something Yukimura won't suspect rather than something Yukimura couldn't return. A "wouldn't work twice but doesn't need to" situation.
Like when Nishikori hit that fake drop shot slice forehand drive against Blake....
(and to not be dumb like Echizen v Tanishi? Anyone else realize that if he could have hit a return winner off of the Big Bang then he should have done it the moment Tanishi was down match point and not when they were tied! Since if they are both holding serve once they get past 6 points each each player is on match point on their first service point.)
