Huge flaws in a game are not inconsequential details.
Didn't really affect my enjoyment of the game, would've been an interesting route to go but these things happen.
Different set of priorities I suppose.
I don't think it'd work out quite like that, as long as people remember where their chairs are the Gaya can't really do much to stop them from going and sitting in them once the round ends; anti-violence rule would prevent that. It'd probably have the most impact early in the round, with the Gaya trying to tail people vs everyone else trying to throw them off.
As for why they never tried... One other thing to consider is that a lot of the Gaya were being manipulated by one group or another from pretty early on, under the promise that it would work out for them eventually. None of them have been shown to be particularly proactive thinkers either so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch that they thought they could just coast by while someone else did all the serious work.

That sounds very similar to what I thought they were doing. It is good, however, to have at least something resembling official word on it so we don't have to worry that every 1 week break will turn into another massive hiatus. And if the frequent weeks off help the quality of the chapters/story, that is just another plus.
Yes, I knew someone here predicted that, I posted in the thread.^^ Well, I agree this is wayyyy better than uncertainty, meaning a longer hiatus and no official word.looking forward to what Kaitani has planned with this, and for how long will he keep it up. I just hope he is doing this as not to take a hiatus after this arc for the next round.
Very nice to hear something concrete on it.
