according to UVERworld's official website, they will make an announcement in this week's shounen jump (3/3). 2chers are speculating that they may sing the new OP or ED song for dgm. note: this is just speculation right now; no confirmation yet!
i will post more information when i find them.

based on the pattern, dgm should get a new OP and ED themes in april (episode 78).
anyway, another speculation is that UVERworld will sing the OP or ED for one piece, but we will find out on monday or earlier.
found this on d.gray-man spoiler thread in 2ch
おｐ might mean OP so i guess that means UVERworld will sing the opening.Quote:
えｄ means ending? I google the kanji and found "Mai Hoshimura". she is the one who sang the 10th ED (Sakura Biyori) for bleach.

the artists are usually from sony, who provide the songs for anime, since it helps with publicity
i heard that artists' singing the OP tends to do better than those singing the ED b/c some television viewers turn off the tv or change to a different channel before the ending airs after the show is over.
anyway, this camshot confirmed the speculation.
even though you can only see the heads, they match up to the artists' pictures.
if anyone wants, i can try to find the rankings of each OP and ED singles. ^^
anyway, i went to the UVERworld rumor thread on 2ch and found this post with the supposed latest single.
we will find out on monday whether this rumor is true or not.Quote:

This is GREAT NEWS. UVERworld is really awesome, after all. ^_^
April 16 is a very plausible date for a single release, plus this would be a perfect time to announce it. 2chan doesn't seem to be very reliable when it comes to music rumours (from what I've heard, anyway), but who knows. At the very least, it'll be an amazing song.
As for sales, it does seem that opening songs get higher rankings than ending songs. I guess that's a good reason why. *shrugs* It could also be that the artists who sing the opening themes are more well-known than the ones who sing ending ones.
Thanks for the info rhaps!!
a 2cher posted a better scan that definitely confirmed that UVERworld will sing the opening theme.
apparently the rumored UVERworld single in the post i posted above is false.
a 2cher posted another title instead:
babelfish translates "セーシェル" as "Seychelles" (maybe someone else will have a better translation. >.>). anyway, this single will be on sale around april-may.Quote:
and another rumored tracklist from 2ch
babelfish translation of the tracklistQuote:
this title seems more believable, imo, since the title seems more fitting for dgm.Quote:

I've never seen an UVERworld single with all tracks in kanji, though. They only have one single with a fully Japanese title, too... Of course, if it's from a Chinese source (four characters and no hiragana anywhere?), then it doesn't matter...
UVERworld's official site has an announcement!
According to Google translate, this says:Quote:
So basically nothing we don't already know, except that we might get an official title/tracklist soon.Quote:
UVERworld just updated their website
so we will find out the title in three weeks and the new opening (and ending) will premiere in april (most likely episode 78).Quote:
UVERworld mentioned about dgm in their blog
according to babelfish, they are recording the song right now and they want their fans to use their imagination on what it will sound like.
