Today I had Jerk Chicken with Chips If anyone has the chance to try Jerk Chicken do it; it is so nice!!!
I have no idea what it was. I know it was couscous and then some kind of veggie/falafel/indian potato-balls. :|
Tasted good tho :|
Not really that big a fan of couscous. I used to get a lot jawdrops when I said that out loud cos people automatically assume that I should love couscous .
Cultural prejudices ftw.
(you DO like couscous right?.... )
I absolutely love couscous myself btw. It's sUPLENDIDO!
btw, today I ate a mix of grated turkey, halloumi, paprika & onion, all fried and eaten with home-made dressing :3
Which Part of THW couscous don't you like ? The vegetables ?
They don't know about the couscous here in nord germany. That's quite a pity
Never tried couscous. It's not really popular here anyway.
Even though I ate a variation of it once, but it was okay only.
I went to an Italian Restaurant earlier and had Gamberi( king prawns in chilli & garlic butter, served with a flamed pepper dipping sauce and toasted ciabatta) for starters and Penne Riccie Marco Polo( sauteed duck, in sweet plum sauce with mushrooms and penne riccie pasta)
Oooo~ Sounds yummy and fancy!
So far, I've had coffee for "breakfast" (as always ) and then for lunch I had some barbecue. I had a pulled pork sandwich and a side of tater tots. Not fancy, but still <3 I'll probably have the leftovers again for dinner.
I had lot's of meat leftovers so I made a soufflé. That's something easy to do and so good. With lot's of cheese in it :-))
A souffle of meat?! sounds nice!
Sorry, missed your question about the couscous, it was many years ago and all I remember about it is that it tasted a bit bland. May have just been the person who made it, but since then I haven't tried it.
Couscous alone taste a bit bland. I recommend eating lightly fried zucchini/courgette (mücver) with it. Delicious with a little salt.
I usually eat them in magrehbian restaurants. There are plenty in France and they are really cheap. I even think they are a few ones where you can eat them for free in Paris.
sausage and chicken hearts + rice, beans and farofa + salad
fried banana for dessert
I ate it at lunch and i'm gonna repeat it at dinner. I love buying food at buffets.
