For lunch, I had a baked egg in tomato cup with a bacon, mushroom + leftover tomato (the insides of the tomato that I scooped out for the cup) sauce.
Bah, should've taken a picture... Oh well.
As for dinner, I had chilli garlic prawns, red braised pork (hongshao rou/红烧肉), stir-fried bean sprouts and chive, aannndd rice (surprise surprise).
Only lunch was mildly exciting.
I ate fruit snacks shaped out of valentine. It was originally for friends but I had leftovers...soo...i gave one for myself c:
I thought this thread was about cooking but it turned out to be what kind of food we have eaten.
In this case, I just had a tuna sandwich and an orange, and with water.
I'm eating strawberry flavored cookies with Ginger ale, i love the cookies and i wanted to share that feeling with all of you.

I just finished a slice of chocolate french silk pie :3 my mom made it. SO delicious. But so very rich and sweet; I'm sure the calorie count is enormous.
Pollo a la brasa, arroz chaufa, and fried plantains from Sardi's, Gaithersburg MD.
Today I celebrated Canada Day by having one of those microwave dinners...
HOWEVER I stepped up to the plate with dessert by making banana flambé. First I melted butter on a pan before sautéing the banana. When I felt that the butter coated the banana well enough, I added brown sugar which created a nice brown glaze. I finished off by adding a pinch of cinnamon and then I coated chocolate sauce when I plated the dish.
The recipe called for rum liqueur, which I do not have. The only alcohol I had in the kitchen was Japanese cooking sake, but I didn't think that would go well with a dessert. I didn't seem to need any liqueur either since the banana still managed to have flavour.
The chocolate sauce was really bitter (like 90% cocoa bitter), and it went well with the banana that was quite sweet.
Homemade burgers and alfredo ziti made by my own hands. French fries at work.
Hopefully tomorrow, Elios cheese pizza and/or mac and cheese, and probably cheese stick at work instead of French fries.
Lentil soup for dinner, love it. and now a chocolate bar. any vegans around ?
If I were to imagine a dream restaurant it would be gazio cafe. And it really exists.

I made some bourbon chicken with white rice (in my slow cooker), should try a different rice
Anyway I want to make some cacio e pepe (oddly because Im reading a book in rome and it was a dish mentioned in it, but one ive never had before) so Ive been trying to assess online recipes.
Unless someone else cooks for me or I'm eating out somewhere, this is what I eat:
Some kind of scrambled egg variety
Peanut butter and jelly
Cheese, Dorito, and mayo sandwhich
Some kind of cheese
That is literally pretty much it. My mom is usually horrified and cooks something for me when she has time.
