You mean Biohazard: Marhawa Desire and BioHazard Umbrella Chronicles: Prelude to the Collapse's . It's indeed a full version of the first one drawn by Naoki Serizawa.
JManga is now worldwide. Now it's up to Viz to make Alpha worldwide.
If you visit their site you will see that they've only got eight shounen titles, they use mostly unknown series because they aren't published in the us or europe, with the manga from WSJ/WSA it's a completly different case. One can dream, but I give up on this one.
At least non-mainstream[and maybe not original] manga will get more attention around the world this way.

Unknown does not mean non-mainstream. I've not read in detail but I'm not sure the titles are pretty original.

Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei Manga to End in 9 More Chapters
Last edited by Animeace; March 08, 2012 at 10:59 AM.
Hope that means that there's going to be a new season of the Zetsubou-Sensei anime then. I'm also interested in seeing what the mangaka will work on next (provided he does work on something next).
Another Parisian event this week-end.
Japan is the guest of the Salon du Livre, as a consequence the manga section is a bit bigger than usual
More info here for those interested
The mangaka invited are
- Moto HAGIO, she is a reference for Shoujo also I must admit I know very few of her work, still it's a big name.
- Taku NISHIMURA (Jean-Paul NISHI), seems to be a Japanese Guy Delisle
- Mari YAMAZAKI the author of Therma Romae
I wish I lived in France. They license so many more interesting manga than American publishers do.
Yes, in France and in Italy you can find a lot of mangas. :-P
i think this is a fitting place to post this
the akira creator will be doing a new shonen manga in a certain shonen mag (WSJ?)
I bet Otomo going to serialize his new shonen manga in Shonen Magazine since his past works were serialized in Kodansha.
With a lot of series ending there, its also more likely. Not a fan of akira though.
Oh? Otomo'll be back in the manga scene and it'll be shounen? I wonder how his style will be since I haven't read any of his works beside Akira which I really really like. And yes, it's more likely to be under Kodansha since it's his home company. I'll watch out for this.
