Takeshi gets some well earned time in the spotlight and I liked it Guess the next chapter will see Japan equalize and then one or two chapters later, they'll win in extra-time or penalties. That way, not only Sawada, but some other Japan Under-19 members could become potential U-23 players.
Oh and Matsuyama seems to have a ball-keep rival
what i meant is, we will see something usual , but not expected from takeshi...
Good chapter,I don't really like Sawada but that's not bad to see the Next Golden Age .
A drive shot will be special enough for me
I think that scoring on his own with one of Tsubasa's technique is just the exact opposite of what this chapters is implying >_>
He could do a Tiger Shoot
i think he was n the same situation ,when he played for Toho against his old team ,at that time he wanted to be like tsubasa and he scored only at the end when he used team play ,so what will be new ?
in my opinion he took so much time to know that he grew up differentially than tsubasa ,actually i don't think he is more than a good dribbler ,and he didn't reach misaki 's half level at the same age.
there is also something about the drawings ,Swada looks younger than the others i feel he is the same kid like befor.Taka must make somthing about him.
If Sano and Nitta were in the U-19 team, do you guys think that the Japan would have a easy match against Korea?
I think Sano and Nitta are older than Sawada...
Sawada wanted to be like Tsubasa, but this matter was never really settled. It's good to see that Sawada (and Takahashi) didn't forget that and managed to come to terms with it, he has his own playstyle and shouldn't be obsessed by Tsubasa.
Indeed, Sano and Nitta are 1 year older than Sawada, they're already too old for the World Youth.
A whole six of the U-19 becoming part of the 23 for the Olympics? I very much doubt it. At best, I believe it will be Takeshi and one more guy. Nice to see Japan's previous title wasn't just a fluke and they are starting to build a tradition in football. Of course, this being the point of the manga, it's not surprising, but I like it anyway
But equally as entertaining, I'm impressed by the new guy. He's huge!!! And has a unique face, which I really like seeing. He's also in Brazil, so maybe Tsubasa knows something about him or perhaps he himself followed in Oozora's footprints. Weed man? He's either a gardener or it's got something to do with his hair
