Another nice chapter, Mitsuru has just decided to become a player with futsal skills. I guess he can. I'd like to see how 3M stopped Futsal Combi, in the following chapters, maybe?
Thanksfully, after the decent fight from the Tachibanas, Jito, Soda and Wakashimazu, some members of the golden age still managed to hold on these guys... Usually they just all get their ass whiped.
If Matsuyama, Misugi and Misaki did anything special, Takahashi would have showed it. I think they just kept on marking them normally, and were able to keep up with them since it was 3 on 2, their job being easier since they couldn't be surprised by the futsal techniques anymore after seeing them.
It was predictable that the beaten members would react by training more... Though I was surprised by the fact Sano rented futsal videos. The team usually uses Tsubasa's mottos but it was the first time for them to use the "steal techniques" thingy.
Well, as for the upcoming 2 test matches, the first time I read Golden-23 I was expecting these 23 members:
Misaki, Matsuyama, Misugi, Futsal combi, Wakashimazu, Jito, Soda, Sorimachi, Tachibana twins, Sano, Nitta, Yumikura (RJ7 game maker), Sakaki (RJ7 tall defender), Yamada (RJ7 keeper), Sugimoto (RJ7 trickster), Ishizaki, Urabe, Takasugi, Izawa, Okano (RJ7 fast wing), Kisugi.
And a formation like this:
DF: Misugi Soda Jito Matsuyama
DMF: Tachibana twins
OMF: Futsal combi, Misaki
But I was wishing for something like:
DF: Misugi Soda Jito Ishizaki
OMF: Yumikura, Misaki, Sano
FW: Tachibana twins (replaced by Nitta and Sorimachi before it gets dangerous for their legs)

My prediction for the line-up:
GK: Wakashimazu (replaced by Yamada later in the game)
DF: Ishizaki, Jito, Matsuyama, Soda
MF: Misugi, Misaki, Sano (either Misugi or Misaki to score 1)
FW: Nitta (to score 1), Furukawa & Kazumi (to score 1) (replaced by the Tachibanas)
Final result against Denmark: 3-1.
Why would you replace Wakashimazu with Yamada?
DF: Soda, Misugi, Jito, Matsuyama
MC: Misaki, Yumikura
OMF: Futsal Combi
FC: Nitta, Sano.
A 4-2-2-2 :P...
It's good to see how the golden age improved after the World Youth, but...i was hoping to see the RJ7 players too =/
GK - Ken of course
DF choice 1 (Giant Trio) : Nakanishi, Jito, Takasugi
DF choice 2 : Sorimachi, Soda, Jito, Matsuyama (I wish for Kishida and Urabi too)
MF : Misaki, Furukawa, Kazami, Sano
FW : Nitta, Misugi
(Tachibanas able to fit anywhere as replacements)
But if the squad is full again, I guess the best will be:
GK : Genzo
DF : Akai, Jito, Soda
MF : Tsubasa, Misaki, Matsuyama, Misugi, Shingo
FW : Hyuga, Nitta
Hmm..isn't this their line up against Sweden?
No it's not they had Sano and Ishizaki for Matsuyama and Misaki

You wanna convert Nakanishi to a defense player?
I already suggested that in a previous thread
Or anywayz, his comeback may hide a surprise since he disappeared for a long time.
You guys are all for switching players all over the field, but Nakanishi isn't the only keeper that would be able to go play in other parts of the fields.
Why should we lose Wakashimazu athletic ability when Wakabayashi comes back ... I'm sure he'd do pretty well on offense with Hyuga...
P.S. I also want to take this chance to thank Shinji for his awesome work on Captain Tsubasa

That's it, another nice chapter without Tsubasa.
Sawada's goal was to follow Tsubasa, and finally we see him play, will he show us a new technique? (Not a Drive Shoot I want, we have enough of them), I'd like to see something new from him.
