whom was hirokoba playing with???..
and this is the deal. the winner fight the monsters, loser climb even higher...
put this back to WSJ, and i'll put it second, before OP obviously, at my reading list...
anyway, this my first post in POT... nice meet u guys
Welcome to the forums ^_^, I'm the mod here (which is sad at the moment)
Hirokaba played some nobody..the way he put was best "no one important".
http://www.onemanga.com/New_Prince_of_Tennis/15/13/ this page says it was Higashikata Masami, one of the jimmies.
I actually knew who it was..i too went to FET to check..but i figured NO ONE would give a crap lmao.
and one more thing...
i read that 20 members of first strings are currently in korea. and they are obviously monsters.. so, kazuya, and the oni-senpai are second string?? or??
i know this had been discussed before , but i just to tired to search the threads. (well, i just started this POT)
Wow, awesome that we got 3 chapters this time. Hopefully they just give in and give us a chapter a week again. Thanks for trans Sai and thanks for the Scan Fayte. I read one of yours and one of someone elses....
Ryoma can still lose with PoP and still have it make some sense. After all, didn't Nanjirou say that PoP was just losing yourself to having fun playing tennis? So, its like playing tennis at your optimal level? I mean the kid is only like 3 feet tall...he can only be so strong...realistically..not that ever was important in PoT....
Granted, the people that he loses to will probably be able to destroy the universe with 1 shot. :P
I feel like a total noob, but why was Ryoma with the losers? I know he never showed so was he disqualified?
Also, why was Ryoma hanging with the coach? When were they buddies?
Edit: Nice sig btw, Atobe.
It was him and Kin chan...since they weren't even present for the GTFO speech i guess the mental coach had to go find them.
And thanks...Hibari is just so badass..plus i haven't shown Reborn any love in a while...
But I feel that it doesn't be strange to him. It was something he had in mind, that and going to wait for the.. uhm... losers return to their own at the training camp.
Saitou expected them to take that decision. He planned it, after all as the mental coach he test them playing against their friends, it was a part of motivating and shove something in their head about friendship /rivalry/determination/courage/defeat/desire/etc/something. ~
So they have another chance but it will cost them more work than the others. And the others will be pressured because those who supposed they defeated now can return and taking them out of the camp
Although it's difficult to me to keep seeing that among the winners get to be a very cooperative. Everyone has their good dose of ego and pride.
And why this time there were 3 chapters?
I'm not complaining, but I wonder O:
Still can't get over that Oni guy "being serious" and playing with a fully strung racket- come on, if they're so wonderful, he should be able to get by on NO strings!
OK, his opponent was Tarzan II, but... heh.
Nah, I really love PoT to death for its logic-defying tennis. Makes me smile all the time. Kin-chan's just too great!
Wonder what Mental Coach's strategy's going to be from now on- pit tennis players against nature by having them shoot bears with tennis balls? (Can't help but think of that one anime episode ) Handcuff them together in pairs to find out who can survive for a week and thus create doubles teams (and dead players)? Have them each chop wood by hacking at it with serves?
*g* Four singles and doubles would be great, but I can't help but think that Konomi will not break his 2-3 pattern for such a petty thing as reality. On the other hand, more matches.... hmmm... can't wait for the series to continue. Let's hope the three-chapters-a-month pace keeps up!
