So, Hitouji and Zaizen have joined the group now? Cool, hopefully Zaizen gets some actual development.
Momo and Kaidoh were awesome, as was pretty much everyone. It looks like they'll be going through some pretty intense training in order to get into U-17 shape.
Some of them (echizen, kin chan, sanada, renji) were already in U=17 shape,
Sanada played Jesus, Echizen and Kinchan forfeited despite my confidence in the fact that they could have crushed both opponents they were scheduled to play. Renji flat out quit.
Well, yeah, obviously some of these guys could already be with the other group. But it looks like all of them are going to be leveling up quite a bit over the coming chapters.
Is it just me or is it ever since I saw Nioh tell Kabajii to help Momo, I have a feeling Niou will play Momo, imitate Oni and spam Black jack knife
Niou helping Momo=Badass
Niou copying Atobe? My favorite character copying my other favorite character?=Win
I'm now convinced Richard cannot say anything other than HAHAHAHA.
Those chapters were...VERY filler. I'm a little disappointed to be honest.
Not fillery....just stretched for no reason..could have been handled in one chapter...
And I'm liking Nioh even more..didn't know Atobe was your second fave sherlock...
Just saw the raws, will start on the tls
btw Atobe, title needs fixing...
I thought these chapters were really interesting. After all of the non-stop matches over the past 5 months, it was nice to have a month that was focused more on the characters. There were a lot of great character moments in these chapters.
Here's the tl for 17
will begin on 18 in a bit
Please note that I'm requesting no scanlations from anyone other than JAC for 24hours ^^;;
I'm officially part of their group now so I've given them that privilege, please respect it
Chapter 18 is a gogo/ Same rules as 17.

Awesome job. Thanks, Sai.
The U-17 team sure does have a lot of coaches. I guess Mifune is going to put the losers through some sort of training regimen that makes the one for the winners from last month seem like a cake walk
Well they coach players who play internationally so having a large staff is necessary.
