Akiyama is losing intentionally.
He wants to take on the burden of all the participants. It makes sense so far.
This is the thread where you discuss the current chapter of Liar Game.
I think yokoya might be missing a detail here... Sure, he is not aiming to win however is it something that should matter to akiyama or nao? The game is about picking someone to win the game and that team can do whatever with the money. Yokoya aims to loose because he wants to sink nao however the winning team could help as much as any other team. Akiyama winning would guarantee that the money gets distributed but it does not mean someone else couldn't do that.
Chap 192 out
It looks like Akiyama's team is about the lose. Hmmm.... I hope someone translates 193 soon
Damn... I can't guess what Akiyama is planning at all..
Yeah.. but whenever his plan is being revealed i have goosebumps
I really cannot see how he could manage to win at this point.
Unless he wants to be the first to lose, and that is plan relies on tricking the others after his defeat somehow...
I just can't see him win with only the 7 points left.
If he does, I'm gonna be extremely surprised!
I believe it has something to do with forcing wu and shu to reach 1 point at the same time, resulting in no one being willing to input any action, therefore bringing the end result to a deuce.
I just fail to see how Akiyama just by controlling his own team's LP count would be able to perform such a trick but well, there has to be something..
Forcing everyone to one point would not work though. The rules say that in the event of a tie the first one to input a command will be the winner after all. I think the core issue here is that it ultimately does not matter who wins. The in game strategy is crap, its a simple matter of choosing a winner and hoping the winner distributes the wealth.
