I still can't quite figure why would they leave out certain chapters D: I would really like to purchase this edition but now, I'm rethinking it T-T The extra profile and poster is incredibly tempting, but the lack of certain chapters is making me think twice about it :3
Think its mostly ment for SQ readers (new readers that is) to speed read up on what they missed out on. Leaving all chapters that arnt plot-requirment out.
Its a nice extra for the SJ readers no more no less. Wouldnt buy it for re-reading old stuff anyways.
Well Allen was already warned by Cross (crypticaly)
Dont die before its over this time.
What if i tell you youll have to kill someone you love.
Quick references dont shoot me if i got it not entirely right
Basicaly the 14th seems to be a tad naive as well, perhaps as i always suspected the 14th and Allen are intertwined, you cant have the 1 without the other.
Just like Tykki = Tykki even tho i guess hes still his human host but hes also the noah. You cant seperate them anymore. Even more so the noah genes are inherrited along with teh rest of the noah genes :P so what is a human but also part noah
Going a bit to far now but my point is Allen might be just as naive as the 14th was/is and they are the same person :P
perhaps time for the wakeupcall you predict ... i asume when he notices Alma Karma etc.
I'm not sure if that's the way in which Allen is naive. He's had a tough life - he's not innocent as to how imperfect and corrupted people can be. I don't see his view of the world as naive at all, not when he's clearly thought about it as much as he can, and he's not an idiot about it, either (Allen wanted to save Tyki, but it's been a while since he's actually tried to save someone he couldn't). He has a desire and a world view that many would call naive, but Allen's faced the consequences and knows the struggle that he'll face holding it. There may still be obstacles in the future, ones that neither he nor anyone else could predict (it's hardly naive on his part if NO ONE else saw it coming - not unless they're all idiots, but... =P), but he's in a very different position than, say, Roufa, who insisted on her view without really thinking about how feasible it is, or just about reality in general. Compare it to Allen's response, where he compromised his own values and accepted what had to be. That's a mature way of thinking, actually.
Honestly... I was thinking of "naive" in a very different way. The kind that doesn't play a role in the story. You know, the kind of naive that makes panty shots funny. *cough* That, or some other kind of world view that's not related to fighting - like how Allen thinks about food or something. However he's naive, his mentality towards the war doesn't seem to be one of those cases. To me.

... So, I was wondering if I should purchase a copy of the compilation earlier. Looking at the second volume right now, I think I'm sold XD
the second volume is 600yen and I wonder what will be included to make it more expensive than the first volume....or its just a normal price adjustment.
The second compilation book cover is gorgeous! I guess Hoshino decided to play around with Miranda's hair color - wasn't Miranda a brunette?
Hmm doesnt look like Miranda at all tho the design is nice.
^But the information states that the cover will have Lenalee, Lavi, and Miranda on the cover.
i like LENALEE LEE design in the cover
