Taboo-Tattoo by Shin Jirou
Genre: Action Martial Arts Mystery, Supernatural
Summary and Preview:
Seigi, a martial arts trained middle schooler, often feels driven to protect the weaker people around him. One day, he defends a homeless man against some punks, and the man gives him a strange tattoo on his palm in return. The tattoo is a secret weapon produced in the arms race between America and the Serinistan Kingdom.
Seigi finds himself in over his head when a powerful girl, using the same secret weapon, violently pursues him in order to retrieve it. His skill at martial arts may not be enough to keep him alive, but will he be able to learn how to trigger the power of his tattoo in time?
Chapter 1 is out by Stand Alone Scanlation
Comes across a lot more shounen than seinen at this point. Will be interesting to see where this goes.
I agree with sabret00the, I had the feeling that I was reading a shounen instead of a seinen. Then again, the opposite has occurred to me too. What I really liked was that the first chapter's pace wasn't too fast, nor was it too slow. Every chapter asks for a confirmation, so let's see what next chapter will bring
I love the girl's name: Bluesy Fluesy. Hilarious name.
Ya, her name is really funny (aka Izzie). This Manga is kinda interesting, its got the serious topic with the spell crest-weapon-thingy but has time for some real good comedy. Just look at the boys face on chapter 02, page 18, I was lmao. Also of course page 23, its just too good.
That Izzie character is my favorite right now. Let us see were the author takes this now. The peaceful schooldays might be over for Sehgi. Also that Tom guy, hope he kicks in, he cant play yhe victim role all the times...
