The adaption of Soul Eater was very good. If you're a fan of Bones it is worth watching.

I put Bakemonogatari on hold and finished Toradora last night. (Taigaaaaaaaa! <3)
Will continue with Zero no Tsukaima.
After years on being on hold, I've finally got myself to watch Oreimo reading all the comments here about it. The initial series was good, but far from anything special, the support characters were so minimal. I do understand that it was only one cour, but other series did better with the same amount of time. The specials on the other hand were what I wished to see more of in the series. Finally Sena and Ruri got their time and Kyousuke had a nice ending this time around. I hope to see more of Saori in the currently running sequel, she earned it!
+ extra points for the father always wearing a Jinbei.

Rewatched a bit of Sword Art Online.
I will be reading the light novel when I have time.
I have watched K-ON! this week and now have like no clue what to watch next. I have watched Hayate no Gotoku, Claymore (<3), One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Elfenlied (<3), that Anime where the director of a school fought a deer (forgot the name :>), Black Butler (partially, not my taste).
Suggestions that include comedy, music and/or gore and exclude ecchi/harem are welcome
PS: Deadman Wonderland is on my list, but I have not found a stream yet that does not hurt your eyes. Glad the Manga's back, though.

Oreimo. I can't remember an anime making me laugh so much. The second season started last week. It's basically about a tsundere (emphasis on the tsun-tsun) who is secretly a loli/imouto-otaku.
For great comedy from 2012 I will point to the heavily overlooked 'Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou'. Had so much fun with it, try it out, laugh and wish it had never ended. :-D
edit: In terms of comedy it lead to at least 10 times more laugther than Oreimo. :P But that may have something to do with my preference and that it's pure comedy anyway.

Hmm...haven't watched any comedy anime (Though plenty of anime that have comedy in them), got to check some of those out.
I finished Baccano! Enjoyed the storytelling method, lack of main character, how every character had purpose and was interesting and different, and...Isaac and Miria! The greatest duo/pair I have witnessed in any anime/manga. I loved every second of screentime they had. When they weren't onscreen, I was anxiously waiting their return despite how awesome the writing was for the other subplots/characters.
the forst two are slight harem not much ecchi except mild humor, no heavy ecchi like panties or nudity
