I'm confused, the player skill is judge by the number of ball they hit at one time?
10 for Oni and Tokugawa
5 for Echizen and Kin-Chan
2 for Sanada (? That's the ball he hit back during the practice on the dirt court)
Now that's sound just wrong, I can understand if Kin-chan for some reason can pull a move that can beat Sanada (through from what we've seen Sanada is more powerful), but it shouldn't be 3 ball difference...
We also know Yukimura can only hit 2 at a time as well. He really struggled to return the samurai drive that one time. The fact Sanada could hit 2 was a real show of his strength.
I think part of the reason for Ryoma and Kintarou's evolution is from actually playing against Oni and Tokugawa.
Is that a tennis court I see at the end of the chapter? I SEE HOPE.
Does anyone else remember how Sanada made easy work of 3 tennis balls in the PoT anime fillers? When the reporter Inoue was doing a report on Rikkaidai before they faced Seigaku in Kantou? It seems odd that Sanada would only be able to hit 2 tennis balls, though I'm sure Konomi is going to change that.
I remember Fuji hitting 3 balls at the same time, though it was against a Machine..., I don't know if it counts.
At least I hope we can return to Tennis(with tennis balls) soon.
Well part of it is also that the characters are hitting all 5 at the same exact time.
I think Sanada hit two concurrently very quickly and the third got him. I won't comment on the anime filler mainly cause that isn't really canon to begin with.
Yukimura is the only other middle schooler with a confirmation of being able to hit at least 2 balls simultaneously (in his effort to return Samurai Drive)
I thought Oni is saved for Momo; oh well I guess Oni will get more rival ^_^. About Tokugawa he could of gotten beat down if Ryoma use his Supersaiyan + GN particle + training he learned from his dad; but I guess its still too early to show this since this manga started no long ago.
After seeing the chapter, it reall look like Kin-chan improve himself to be on Echizen level.
But Yukimura returning 2 is quite debatable in my opinion. I think he can return more. Remember that for Echizen, Kin, Sanada, the ball are all near them. For Yukimura, Samurai Drive seperate it to different part of the court, making the ball much harder to return.
I know this stopped being prince of tennis to become Dragon ball at the national tournament.
This already went out of control.
Somehow it pissed me off that the samurai drive is even a move as of rules in tennis, if the tennis ball ever get´s destroyed, sliced or seriously damage between the point, the point becomes null.
So the samurai drive would only bring the point to a null point , every time.
But at this point they are not even playing tennis, it´s really annoying.
Also it´s annoying that they are trying to make echizen NOT godlike. I mean, he already should be godlike and now it seems he has problme to beat some high schoolers?.
Im just figuring out what the world best player in prince of tennis is.
I imagine somenoe that can fly, has telepathy, telekinesis, has lived 1000 ages, and his final shot can potentially destroy the universe.
When this series finishes with probably echizen beating the World´s best player who is probably an alien guru that come from another dimension that do not play tennis professional but only when he sees a worty opponent in the universe, we are going to see threads over the internet of the likes of ¨Goku and Superman vs Echizen , who would win?¨ And sadly the most logical answer will be Echizen.
