Please use this thread to discuss the NuraMago light novels and their contents. If there are any spoilers from the manga, do keep them under a spoiler tag just in case. Thank you! ~saladesu
I looked through the forum and did not find any thread like this, so I just started my own, if such a thread was hidden somewhere, please feel free to remove this one.
I bought the Chinese version of the first volume of Nurarihyon no Mago 1 month ago and had just finished translating it today. If you follow the NuraMago livejournal community, you would probably have seen it already.
Anyway, here's the download link of the translated first volume of the novel, I will continue to translate the novels when the Chinese versions have been released. (which won't be anytime soon, probably in half a year earliest)
Feel free to discuss the stories here too, once you've read them ^^

Can you give a link for these raws?
@helperalpar: I don't have a soft copy of the Chinese raws because these are translated from the hard copy of the novel that I own.
Y-y-y-y-y-y-you are a Kami, aren't you?!
Thaaaank you, this is the best Christmas present ever T_T
BTW, do you intend to translate other novels as well?

XD I guess I'll add my contribution here too, though it's kinda small in comparison. I just finished translating the first chapter of "Yoshiwara Cat's Cradle" from the third light novel. It's on Google Docs for now.
pika318!!!! How nice to see you here too!
Thanks for sharing your translations here! I had found the two first stories in the LJ Community two weeks ago and for my hapiness they were done by you!! (only a thing, I was in a hurry that day and I couldn't post you a thanks post, I'll do it now).
And now you've finished the first novel!!! Again, thanks.
And also, thanks lynxian for the chapter!!! i really appreciate it.
There are some fan translations floating around, but after comparing one story which was fan translated against the official version, I realised they were rather different and the fan translation was even missing some sections, so I rather wait for the hard copy to be released, if you guys don't mind.
The official versions don't get released frequently though, so you'll be in for a very long wait until I can procure the next volume.
Thanks lynxian for the translations! I appreciate people who are willing to translate from Japanese, because some meanings can be lost after it's translated into Chinese, not to mention that my Chinese standard isn't that great.
I realise no one's discussing about the stories XD Is there really nothing to talk about, any feelings after reading the stories?
My personal favourite is Nurarihyon's and Youhime's wedding, because it's funny, romantic and touching at the same time.

Thanks for translating, Pika! Welcome to MH and to the NuraMago section~
I'll definitely take a look at your translations as I haven't had the time to pick up any of these light novels - I wasn't even aware there were Chinese versions... Are they published by Chuang Yi?
Thank you very much for this! Whoop one of the best presents this year. xD
Lol at Setsura's image of Youhime. It's almost...yuri...
It seems to me that Kuroumaru is even more serious than his father >.>
A Chinese version of Kid Rihan's adventures from the 4th LN c:
The Chinese version came out rather recently, in September. The novels are currently being published by Tongli, under Shine Novels, most Shonen manga novels are published in Chinese by them. Only the first volume is published so far.
Thanks for the link Ohoho! The story isn't completely translated yet, but it basically talks about Rihan at 10 years old.
Rihan can already activate his fear, and can use Kyouka Suigetsu
Youhime was the one who insisted Rihan gets educated, even though Nurarihyon is happy enough as long as Rihan can write his own name.
He makes a human friend, even after saying oh so casually that he's a half youkai.
Rihan's human friend is actually good at fighting, but endures all his bullying because of his lower status, Rihan helps him fight off the bullies and people targeting him twice.
The friend's father then became a scapegoat for an arson (which was an assassination attack), the translation stops at Rihan getting beaten up after getting a net thrown onto him.
