Anime: Nurarihyon no Mago
In Shônen Jump #13,we get to know that the serie will start in July and that it is Studio Deen who'll be responsible for the animation
Conerning the Seiyû, they are the same from the Drama Cd
not opened official site
Discuss and share every mago related anime info over here
why rikou is so thin just hope this is the first draft so it can be changed
Hmm, since it's Studio Deen, I'm really relieved considering that this is quite a good anime studio in my books.
Also, yes for Fukuyama Jun continuing to voice Rikuo XD
Thanks for the info!
Studio Deen? loooooooooool. Poor Mago. I'll be wishing it good luck considering how badly Studio Deen adapted Rave Master and Umineko. Could they really not have gotten a better animation company for this?
What scares me the most it's that it will start in July, most of the anime that starts in July only last 12 or 13 episodes.
I'm happy that casts are same as drama cd.
... Mixed feelings... The fact that its Studio Deen animating it has me scared (despite their older, actually good series), but the anime screen looks pretty good for a shounen series, minus the fact Rikuo looks skinny. I'll be cautiously optimistic from now on...
Definitely looks a little weird, but long as its good, I can handle a few liberties taken with the appearances. Strange that its starting in the summer. When's the last time a Jump anime's done that? Regardless, I'm excited.
The last jump anime to start in summer is Shaman King and considering it run for 64 episodes, there's still chance Mago will run for more than one cour. Let's hope it doesn't diverge from the manga like Shaman King did. Studio DEEN at the very least, is still better than Pierrot
I would honestly prefer a really good 64 episode anime as opposed to a decent 100+ one. Split it up into two seasons. Let the first run up about through where the manga is now, and the second can be whatever else the manga pushes out by the time the first one is over.
just hope Mago can last like the other jump series (onepiece, bleach, naruto,KHR) that got anime version
If it was going to be only 12 episodes of a lenght,I hope they'll make more seasons in the future!!That'll be better xD
Am I the only one disappointed they're using the same voices from the drama CD? Actually, I'm only disappointed at what Tsurara's voice will be, the rest were fine. I was really hoping they would change her voice actor . Anyways, so July huh? I hope someone picks this up and subs it.
Also, this the Studio that did Rave Master, and I wasn't too impressed with that one, though I only saw the dubbed version.
Huh, when I see the most famous characters some of the seiyus portrayed, it's kinda amusing.
Lelouch Lamperouge: Rikuo
Yuuki Cross: Yuki Onna
Haruhi Suzumiya: Kana
Suzaku Kuruugi/Cloud Strife: Kubinashi
Sakata Gintoki/Kyon: Zen
Allelujah Haptism: Gozumaru
Kira Yamato: Mezumaru

I'm more amused that Lelouch is Rikuo and Suzaku is Kubinashi. (:
...and even more that Rikuo has the same seiyuu as Kishitani Shinra from Durarara!! Day!Rikuo looks looks like him, and they have this same personality of liking to tease people.
Anyway, I'm relieved that it's Studio Deen because it could be worse. For example, Xebec screwed up two of my favourite series...
