When I younger, I watch anime call "Cooking Master Boy". Very interesting anime about the chinese boy who want become legendary cook. He must collect the legendary utensils to become legendary cook. I like very much the laughing bun!
I also like read Toriko. Now in Jump, Toriko is so popular. I think because people read Toriko become hungry!
Mister Ajiko is favorite of mine.
Toriko is very good. Sometimes I think better than Bleach. More people should read Toriko. Very funny and good.
I've watched the anime version of ristorante-paradiso but I would not said I liked it a lot. I also read a few chapter of Toriko but the plot did not really catch my heart so far. So I would say the best cooking manga ( or rather a drinking manga ) is kami no shizuku. It's extremely exagerated and cliché ( come on there are other place than Zermatt in the alpes ) but it's funny and instructive ( and france has a big role which ticks my patriotic feelings :-)
Ristorante Paradiso was hardly a cooking manga, despite taking place at a restaurant. I really enjoyed the manga, though not everyone loves Ono Natsume's writing style.
Just think about it now but Kodoku no gourmet (lonely gourmet?) is a nice food manga from Tanigushi
Instead of reading manga about cooking, I'd rather watch them in animation :S So the only one I've read is Kitchen Princess which was pretty decent considering it had its fair share of shoujo elements as well. Nevertheless, it was a great balance between romance and the cooking portions.
Say hello to Dashi Master but no one mentions it ! I actually haven't reading and/or watched cooking manga but I watched some clips of some of them and I found it very interesting ! To Dashi Master, I read some clips to the manga thanks to the controversial (plagiarism) article about it and I'm laughing when seeing it ! Anyways, I'm looking for a cooking-themed moe manga (besides Noodle Fighter Miki) and I found Love, Election & Chocolate. This eroge-based manga has some interesting elements (school politics and cooking club) and I love it ! I also read Mayoi Neko Overrun! and has catgirl character and delicious bakery recipes !

I have found Shinya Shokudou some times ago and I really love every chapter. It's a pity they are so few, even though they probably taste better this way.
I do like Shinya, though I also wish more chapters were translated. More than a good food manga, Shinya is an excellent examination of people, using food as a window into human nature.
Not interested in cooking manga, but...the only one I've ever read was Hell's Kitchen. Since I'm subscribed to the magazine which the series is serializing in, I kinda pick it up to read from times to times when I have nothing to do, but it's awesome though. ^_^"
For me Bambino! is one of the best cooking manga. Well, if you want cooking manga with some action, maybe Toriko fits your likings.
I keep meaning to read Bambino. Looks like an interesting manga, love the magazine it's from, love the group that translated.
along with, that i also enjoy mixed vegetables, the author who wrote is one of my faves, and the food looks intensely tasty, along with the fact that it duz follow a shoujo-romance plot also improves it.
