oops, i thought it's topic for russians and we'll speak here in RU, but it's for learning russian (cool)
and yeah! we have more @bad words@ than any other languages (except maybe ukrainian) ^_____^
sometimes it really help
"spasibo", pen female and pensil male
"Also, the Russian female name will always end with -a"
with -ya too
it can be in full mode with -a and in short with -ya and vice versa
"2) As Japanese say same phrases all the time, ending the sentence, russians swear all the sentence long."
that's not truth!
How are you? - Kak Dhela?
разве правильно будет не "Dela"?
Да, но это написал dedal_x а не я.Originally Posted by m@gnum44

Ээээ... Знаете, я понятия не имею откуда там взялось "h"...
и пошло-поехало, принцип домино)))
ну да ладно, не велика ошибка)
*revives dead russian thread*
Heh, I'm vaguely russian myself. Was born there, but moved to the US about 10 years ago so while my english is fairly good, I've started to forget my russian. Can sort of speak it and sort of it read it, but I understand it pretty good.
Anyway, the greatest problem I've had with transliterating russian to the latin character set is that often when somebody, like on a forum, asks how to say something in russian, it's really hard to get across what you mean. Whoever said "dhela" is how I'd write it myself as well since "dela" sounds a lot harder than "dhela," at least in my head.
Here, but, if it's rather about other things than language ..... You can join any of the hang out threads ~P
