My favorite band is Chiodos I love listening to Post-Hardcore bands like Alesana, Bear Vs. Shark, From First to Last, and Alexisonfire.
post-hardcore you say? those bands are the new post-hardcore, you should listen to the original, raw post-hardcore from fugazi and at the drive-in, legendary bands of the past... also i think the best post-hardcore band of the past few years is thursday, but only on their indie labels, their major label albums are shit...
i prefer glassjaw to thrice, but i like them both. i also prefer them to head automatica, which has the same lead singer. i don't dislike them, but it just doesn't feel quite right to hear daryl singing pop. the first time i heard head automatica, i was like, "wtf? this is so weird!" it's not surprising to me, but it seems that most people like one band or the other, but not both.
Way too many bands to list in all. I listen to mainly metal and rock, but a good share are more experimental than the average band. I can't stand rap/hip hop/R&B/pop/dance music in general.
Faith No More
Iron Maiden/Judas Priest
King Diamond/Mercyful Fate
Spastic Ink/Watchtower/Blotted Science
Dark Angel/Exodus/Kreator/Slayer/Metallica/Possessed/Destruction (lots of 80's Thrash)
And that's just the tip of iceberg, and yes I've listened to all these bands a ton.
My Top 5 Favorite Bands at the moment would be (In no particular order)
Faith No More
Faith No More and Death would be my top two favorite all time bands.

well,I should tell that I'm in love with Depeche Mode~the whole band even though andrew fletcher is a bit weird
It is a techno and New wave band but I mostly listen rock/metal/punk
here is a little list~(I also listen j-rock sometimes~If it is miyavi or gazette though~)
Minus the bear
Lam of god
list goes on ~
just bought slipknots new album, its very stone sourish
I'm currently listening to Metallica's new album, Death Magnetic. It's awesome, kinda hard to believe that most of these guys are in their 40s.
I hope that this can be their "White album".
on a scale 1 to 10 what do ya give 'Death Magnetic'?
got my hands on 'Scars on Broadway' and 'Backyard Babies' new albums, havent listened all that much to the latter but 'Scars on Broadway' isgood, not SOAD good but still worth a go.
Death Magnetic is out already?
Well I listen two of there songs "The Day that never comes" and "Cyanide" thought they were good, and i think (hopefully) this is going to be better than there last album.
Slipknots's All is Gone was great (Psychosocial was awesome) and Scars on Broadway is good as well
