For the rest of volume 4 ~chapter 83-90 & 91-99...
The chapter starts with a little glimpse of Hoshi(Star) without his mask.
I love when they showed Nino with shoulder-lengthed hair on Star's flashback story.
The highlight chapter for me is the crazy marathon competition, where Recruit, Star, Sister, Chief (kappa), and Whitey participated. The event and result was something unexpected & hilarious as well.
Just noticed also that Whitey-san has quite some hidden talents despite his white lines obsession.
Some new wallpaper released from Square Enix. The best is Arakawa Under the Bridge.
Volume 7 chapters already out and complete by Slowmanga scans. My favorites are Chief's secret and the Battle of the weakling chapters.
OMG, the latest chapters have such interesting developments! finally they show scenes leading to the explanation of Nino's identitiy, along with the chief, and surprisingly, even Maria and Sister are involved???!
Today release made me finally catch up with Arakawa.
This is really a great comedy manga. Each time we see start double mask, it makes me laugh thinking at it's first appearance which is one of my favorite gag.
I'm surprised that not more people are reading this manga. It's pretty damn funny. I wrote about it at: http://www.mangatherapy.com/post/131...utiful-arakawa
I think it's one of those titles that makes you look at life and realize that we're all absurd in our own little way.
This is indeed super funny. Plus the anime was done by SHAFT. I <3 Chief and his kappa-antics and his stealthy con in attaining a house.
does anyone have an opinion on the live action series though?
Sorry I only read the manga. Does everybody has tried Jesus and Boudha by the same mangaka ? I immediatly recognize the humor of Nakamura, though I didn't start it making the connection at first.
I love Saint Young Men. In fact, I like its humor better than Arakawa. But I'm reading Arakawa primarily for the romance and mystery, lol.
So we can all agree that Hoshi is everyone's favorite character, no?
