Just noticed this in Beelzebub: http://www.onemanga.com/Beelzebub/69/03/
I can't recall if I've seen any in Bakuman, but perhaps you guys might know some I haven't even thought of.
I do remember seeing Psyren in the Jump's table of contents in Bakuman once. That Psyren reference is pretty awesome by the way. You can tell that both authors respect eachother after working as mangaka and assistant.
Well, Psyren and Beelzebub already made a homage before:
This in Psyren vol 7:
And this in Beelzebub vol 1:
wasn't just Kyle in that panel... it was Fuu and Yoshina as well.
But it is cool to see manga artist do "shout-outs" so to speak to other ones.
It's me or this is Ultraman? I mean Ageha's mask.

I think I should mention here even if I put this at spoiler thread, so this won't roll off http://uproda.2ch-library.com/277939xF8/lib277939.jpg
Drawn by : Kawashita Mizuki (pls correct me if there's a typo)
Source : Shonen Jump poster, issue 36.37 2010 (summer holiday issue)
By the way, there's lot of discussion at the 2ch Jump Survival discussion of this right now, on "who on earth is who is WHO!?!?" Especially for the HUGE ARRAY OF BLACK & BROWN- HAIRED HEROINE DRAWN UNDER THE SAME STYLE.
I'll try to list as far as 2ch & I can tell:
Front centre : Nami and Sakura (easily tellable)
Right of Nami, position :
Nami --> Orihime --> Miho (Bakuman) --- /Rin (Toriko)
......................................................... \- Kagura (Gintama)
Left of Sakura :
...............Tamako Sensei (Inumaru) <---Tsurara (Nurarihon) --\
Reiko (Kochikame) <---Himeko (Sket Dance) <--- Kyoko (Reborn) <---Sakura
Top Roll :
Amamiya --> ??? (heroine of Metalica) --> Shinya (Hogenshitsu no Shinigami) --> ??? --> Chika-chan (note: the little girl) (Shonen Shikku) ---> Hana (Oumagatoki Zoo) --> Riko/Coach (Kuroko no Basket) --> Nene (SWOT) --> Medaka (Medaka Box) --> Aoi (Beelzebub)
Input needed for two heronies.... ^_^;

I don't see Amamiya anywhere.... (and for the love of god, why the hell does it have to be vertical!!??) Oh yeah, Kawashita's art really fits the Jump girls.
Newkerzy, Amamiya san is at top left XD
(She seems to have a larger chest than usual under Kawashita-Sensei though.)
^she is in the lower left corner or upper left when the picture is turn around correctly.

Made a horizontal one. As for the two heroines, Metallica Metalluca's is Shino, and the other girl... Judging by the series not listed, I would guess it would be Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar. Although looking at a picture of the heroine, Takana Shirakawa, I can't tell if it is her.
Edit: d'oh!!! I didn't realize I had to scroll down for the vertical version. thanks for the horizontal version shedge!!!
Yeah, the poor girl needs all the help she can to win against Marie's boobies.Originally Posted by hai_Priesty

.... Can getting a new sensei be considered "help"? That's like telling a girl to do a nosejo.... oh never mind. XD
and thanks Shedge for upload and info. I never read Jaguar so I have no idea (and often didn't even remember the existence of this manga behind.)
Well, it isn't an explicit homage or a reference to a manga. But 3c and I always found that these gave us a Dragonball vibe
This truly reminded me of Goku or Gohan doing a power up when fighting Cell, Majin Buu, etc
and Junas' attack reminds me of a kamehameha.
I like this a lot. In his previous work Mieru Hito he did similar things too. I have always likened some Dragonball vibes in Psyren. I wouldn't be surprised if the mangaka is doing it on purpose to show who gave him the influence
