That's the one. I thought it might have been an instrumental version of something from the anime but i don't know the music from the anime well enough to say for sure. Man, that OVA had some fantastic music in it.Originally Posted by hatsuharupeace
I suppose while i'm posting in this thread i should mention some J-music i like. A big part whether or not i like an anime is based on how well the music goes with the story and scenes. So i generally think of J-music i terms of the anime i heard it in, more than the band or artist who actually sing it. I'm particularly fond of the music found in Bleach, FLCL, Darker than Black, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and (though i'm a little ashamed to admit it) Seto no Hanayome.
As for individual songs that i am particularly fond of...
Duvet by BOA(the OP theme for "Serial Experiments Lain")
Rakuen by Do As Infinity(the ED theme of the 4th Inuyasha movie)
Chain by Back-On(the OP theme for "Air Gear")
Hikari Sasuhou FK metal version by Back-On (the OP theme for "Murder Princess")
Shingiru by Loveholic (the ED theme for "Black Blood Brothers")

Which one did you like better? The OP or the ED?Originally Posted by Jammin
I'm quite like that as well, though I'm probably not as tough about it as you are. xDQuote:
Ahh, Rakuen was good... I loved the piano chords at the beginning (Is it piano?? I think it is.) Her singing is awesome as well. Do you listen to any other DAI songs?Quote:
Chain was awesome!!! Listened to it so many times, until I found New World, and listened to that many times as well. Favourite Back-On song???Quote:
The OP, i think. Though what i like the most are the various pieces of the background music used throughout. Specifically the scene where the other Syaoran awakens, that fight i already mentioned, and the scene at the end where Sakura goes on her quest.Originally Posted by hatsuharupeace
Yeah, i do. Shinjitsu no Uta another ED theme they did for Inuyasha. That show had some really good ED themes. What i love about Rakuen is they way the violin is combined with that lovely voice of hers.Originally Posted by hatsuharupeace
If you like vocals and piano you should consider giving Shingiru by loveholic a listen, if you haven't already. It's a little slow but a really good song none the less.
Though "chain" is great, i would have to say "Hikari Sasuhou FK metal version" is my personal favorite. The use of electric guitar in that song was just plain awesome. Not to be confused with "Hikari Sasuhou", which is the normal version that i don't think is nearly as good.Originally Posted by hatsuharupeace

Just downloaded it, sounds awesome!! It's different from the original, I definately like this version better. xD Is there a full version of it anyway btw? Because the version I have is only 1:30 long.Originally Posted by Jammin
Downloaded this as well, I like the sound of it. I like the slowness of the song, it gives it an uniqueness, which I like about the song.Quote:
The TRC song you were talking about yesterday:
It's a song from the first OST of Tsubasa Chronicle and it's called "Break the Sword of Justice". I've uploaded it for you at mediafire.

By the way, the OST to the .hack//G.U. movie is awesome. Really worth a download.
Awesome, thanks Magier, much appreciated!!!
LMAO, you're trying to promote .hack//G.U. everywhere now... Got a link to the OST???Originally Posted by Schwindelmagier
Back-On might have the full version on their next single or something as a B-Side. Hope they do that, that would be awesome.Originally Posted by Jammin
Just listened to 'break the sword of justice', sounds really good, even without even animation to go with it, love the double bass at the beginning.

Sure, here's a torrent->
I'm going to listen to "Sword of Justice" until my ears bleed, and love every second of it. I'll definitely check out that soundtrack too.
Oh yeah, one more great song i forgot to mention is Tabi no Tochu by Natsumi Kiyoura(the OP for "Spice and Wolf") it's a very gentle and relaxing song.

You're always welcome. I am glad if I am able to help or spread the love for something in the world.
I really appreciate this thread because I think a thread for sharing music and favourite bands/songs was missing at MH.
I have a questoin, too... if I may?
Anyone has this song as MP3 because I badly need it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNFyIFmgkZg&e
The song is called "Rin to shite saku hana no gotoku" but I can't find it anywhere.
Check out Gendou's Anime Music, it's the best place to find anime music.Originally Posted by Schwindelmagier
LOL, this thread needs more love anyway, it has been pretty inactive for a while. It's a thread for sharing JAPANESE music and favourite bands/songs, btw Magier. xD No english stuff here, that goes elsewhere.Quote:
I'll check that out as well, thanks Jammin!Originally Posted by Jammin
Unfortunately it's not listed at gendou's >_>
But yeah, Japanese music, didn't expect anything else hear, just forgot to mention it. ^^
