ok i just came with a line and thought of opening this thread
luffy after getting bitten half to death by the oversized grown laboon: "ok grats laboon you can now join my crew!!" "ok now we need one more"
sorry if i was carried away
will be happy to hear your lines
I'm going with an epilogue. It'll be a timeskip showcasing Admiral Coby and what the Mugiwaras are doing after disbanding sometime after the World Government falls. The end will showcase a new character, and this character will be wearing Luffy's prized strawhat exclaiming his/her/its desire to become the next Pirate King.
In the last episode legacy of the Great Age of Piracy will be explored.
I've gotten the feeling while reading One Piece as if its a story being told of something that happened a long time ago (like how the narrations were done for the complete defeat of the strawhats at Shabondy, "Nightmare of Barujimoa", death of Whitebeard, etc.)
I guess the most clear example I can give for this is Chapter 596, page 14 where its narrated as "--And so this became the "Legend of the Sacred Burning Beast of Barujimoa," passed down through generations on the "Grand Line"--"
It makes me wonder if the last chapter/episode will show someone telling the story...maybe a Monkey D. <insert name of descendant of Luffy here>
