The first chapter was pretty interesting, definitely. The art is a little weird at parts as people have said, but still pretty good! But as also mentioned, the humour was a bit off. I don't mind humour in a (supposedly) serious manga like this (though no humour is great too, like Death Note), but it was really quite out of place in the first chapter and made Sumio's character quite weird. Hopefully Sakaki-sensei will get more into the groove of things as he goes along ^^
Anyway, I just read spoilers for the second chapter (are we allowed to post spoilers in here? o.o) on 2ch, and the second chapter seems pretty good too. Looking forward to it I'm hoping this keeps up and that it won't be yet another cancellation in Jump's 2010 serialisation list :/

Second chapter was pretty good, not nearly as good as the first, but pretty interesting still. At this rate the series has a chance of surviving, but I do believe that the next chapters will have to kick it up a notch for the series to really get a jump start. The first chapter was very well written, sparked interest, introduced mystique and introduced us to the characters aswell as the motivator for the main character. The second although it felt long, also felt like not much really happened. It can be viewed as a build up chapter for future chapters. So yeah, interesting series.
I am of the other opinion 3c. I liked this chapter more. The first 4 pages bored me and I was afraid of a very slow pace but the chapter turned out to have the perfect pace imo. There was more tension in this chapter than in previous one. The character introduction in the first chapter totally failed but the second chapter made me understand why there wasn't much character introduction The mystery is getting bigger and all you can do, is trusting one single character Sumio. The rest are an unknown factor and some can be part of ənígmə
I agree with Koenosaki. This chapter was really good, especially because of the character developement.
I wonder how the next chapter will be.
What sparked my interest was the last page.Shisuo(?) noticed that that guy with the eye-patch is the key to the solution and it's pretty obvious that his assumption is true. Now i wonder if he will wait a bit to test that dude's trust.I mean the eye-patch dude could just take a look at the hint and get the password himself.Shisuo would be pretty stupid if he asked him right away, without giving that other boy the chance to reveal his thoughts.
I like the mystery inside the mystery and stuff !Hope it doesnt get really too complicated though and begin to lose interest! Its also only the beginning but i have high hopes for this manga!
I felt like Chapter 2 wasn't quite as interesting as the first one. There wasn't quite as much suspense going on this time, although we did get a bit more time getting to know the characters. I'd like something more in tone with the first chapter, though.
I'm liking this so far. Survival Mystery, an excellent genre. Hopefully this doesn't succumb to battles, gore, and contrived plot twists.
Chapter 3 spoilers. I don't have time to translate it fully, though D: So just a quick summary for now. Might be back tomorrow after my exam to do it if no-one else does. Sounds like it will be another interesting chapter ^^
I think that means I translated it wrong. Not knowing what it meant story-wise, I chose the wrong translation, thinking it was "if he didn't erase it, we couldn't take it" and it should've been "he did not erase it, we did not get it." on that extra line in the diary.
