Hehe, i used to have that one myself for a while... ( avatar with all three from that same picture that is )
So, you're also a Kakashi fan, Eagle?
Why is everyone so obsessed with him?
(*psst - don't tell anyone that I also like this character....)
Because he is very clever, mysterious, sweet, strong... and girls love him... well, he's what I'd like to be !Originally Posted by Miso
And he reads dirty books openly! XD

(Seriously, I fell in love with this character almost right from the start - when he walked through the door to meet Team 7 for the first time and got hit by Naruto's eraser right on the noggin. That whole chapter as he was questioning Team 7 I loved the way he was drawn, so laid back. And then the bell test he was STILL so laid back even while he was fighting, especially Naruto, it was the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while.)
*Apologies to Eagle for posting an answer in his thread XD
Another Kakashi fan!!!
Wonderful!! :knk He's in my avatar all the time, never once removed. :knk :knk
Ok, questions time.
What actually does your job require you to do?
If you have 100 US dollar right now, what will you do with that amount of money.
From the scale 1 to 10, how much do you love your country? Why?
My job is to program VBA applications for excel, and to make support to the guys who repair the computers everywhere in the country. Most support is for the machine that gives you money in the street.Originally Posted by eileenting88
If I have 100 US$ right now, I will put them on my account ^^ It would be really useful !
I give my country a 7/10, because it's a country where I love to live. Even if there is lots of thing i'm not agree with, I'm happy in France, because with the money I earn, I'll be able to buy and live in a big house, I can eat very good things... life is quite "easy" ! I'm not sure living in Japan will give me the same feelings That's also why I prefer to go there for the Holidays !
i wanna join as a cleaner, where are the tryouts?
I'll put them online very soon ^^ They will be on my forum ! Hope you'll give them a try !Originally Posted by nytrogyn
this the japflap thread?
i don't like the stuff you do.
too artsy, desecrating the art of manga.
you pour a lot of efort in it so, i guess its ok.
you do your stuff and i'll do mine.
[this is just an opinion]
Care to explain why it's too "artsy?"
He doesn't like the grey-cleaning method, as it ruins the original drawing in his opinion... i can see what he means, but i like JapFlap-version nonetheless
No problem ^^ There are other scanlations around, just read the one you like.Originally Posted by ketwaroo
Well - I honestly don't think there should be any ONE way to do scanlations, I like to see different approaches and I know I like Japflap's work ^_^
As far as the grey-cleaning method ruining the original art, I'd disagree. As long as it's still true to the spirit of the artwork I don't see a problem with it, and I think Japflap does that.
I mean, to be honest, if you REALLY are picky about the original art, just order Shonen Jump from Japan, and enjoy the fragile, yellow pages.
