Have fun discussing, but remember to keep it clean! ^^
Well, my first comment would be: Super Hero Legend's opening was AWESOME XD
Any idea of who's playing that song? It sounds like Hironobu Kageyama, TOTALLY shounen-like, haha! It's just great.
Well, I guess it was okay overall, Not very impressed. Liked the ending better then the opening though, Would have liked more upcoming characters and stuff in the intro. Still, It's a difficult Manga to make into an anime (Just as the theme in the Bakuman manga right now), plus much talking and not always that much action... we'll see how it will work out... It's the kind of slice of life story that would be a cool dorama.
But I said the very same thing about the Death Note anime back just before it first aired, and that was a huge hit.
But the voices are great! My first reaction was like, "is Kaya going to sound so annoying and stick around for the rest of the series??" But I guess it fits her. Can't wait to hear Eiji's voice!
I don't know if this is very good anime material, they talk a lot and there's not really a fast pace, it's pretty boring to watch.
I laughed my guts out when I saw the Super Hero Legend's open! AWESOME!
It will be a great anime because they are bound to use the anime to expand some of the mini-manga segments, and that will be glorious.
I really liked the Saiko and Azuki scene ....
side note: I doubt I am the first to think of this but i would of laughed my ass off if it showed Saiko on facebook making it "Facebook Offical"
That was actually good. After so many disappointments, what do you even say to that again?
Yay! Go bakuman!
I really loved it. The opening theme is nice, but what's in it bothers me a bit. I wanted to see a few more characters in it because there's a series of characters in this series (redundant on my part :/). I'm not sure if there will be another opening or not after 12 so I'll hold off on this.
Everything else was great. The animation isn't 10/10, but everything felt so heartwarming. The marriage proposal had me laughing like crazy. Super Hero Legends was amazing! I felt like I had the wrong anime for 3 seconds, and yet I was in love with those 3 seconds are the rest of the opening that came with it once I realized what I was watching.
I don't have any major problems with the voice either. A great start. A lot more promising than Fairy Tail's start. But these are two different things. It doesn't need a fast pace, I'd say. Death Note had the suspense factor and this has the interest factor. Similar, but different. I'm way too excited for this anime.
It was really funny that they started off with Super Hero Legends XD I too thought I was watching the wrong anime/had downloaded the wrong thing XD The proposal scene had me in fits of laughter for how absolutely ludicrous it is (I already thought so when reading the manga, and it almost made me stop reading Bakuman for just that reason, thankfully that didn't happen)
When watching the trailer I thought the seiyuu for Saikou and Shuujin didn't really fit but now that I've heard them speaking more lines, I think they do Quite happy with how this anime has turned out so far, and am looking forward to more of it! The ending and openings were both pretty good too (a little disappointed at Kobukuro's opening cuz I expected something better but it's not a bad song)
I got a question. Did they have something like "drawing tips session" at the end?? I figured they might do something like that since it's on an educational channel.
The episode was ok so far. The animation is quite nice, and I didn't expect something super. The voices seemed to fit the characters.
The pacing was good so far for the first chapter, albeit some filler. Super Hero Legend opening was cool, but it might give the wrong idea for someone not familiar with the series.
Well I enjoyed the first episode. I'll admit that I was disappointed, seeing as it is JC Staff doing the animation, and there work is usually better than this. I guess I'll start listing the negatives before the positives. First off, like I mentioned previously, the animation could've been better. Now I know this isn't an action series, so there's not going to be a lot of movement, but it's somewhat necessary to display the character's emotions. At the very least we could get more detailed drawings of the characters (who were off-model a lot of the time). Take Hikaru no Go for example. Not exactly the most "actiony" series, but it compensates with having detailed characters. Another thing I disliked was the music. There were some good tracks, but the rest was just subpar. Nothing compared to Death Note's soundtrack (though both series are vastly different from eachother).
As for the positives, the voices were excellent, and the sound effects made the funny scenes hilarious. The colour scheme was also pretty good (minus Takagi's hair which I'm not used to yet), and the backgrounds as well. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a high-res download of the first episode yet, so it felt like I was watching Xvid quality. I get the feeling that I'd appreciate the episode a lot more if the picture quality were better. I also really liked the addition of the fake opening theme. It was awesome! Speaking of the opening theme, it was pretty lackluster to be honest, both the song and animation, though there was a pretty cool scene with Saiko and Azuki in a field with leaves/grass flowing. The ending theme was much better, song-wise at least.
Anyway, I have high-hopes for this adaptation .
I liked this episode, it was quite entertaining, i like the humor, the animation... Although the beginning was a little bit boring, but it was good.
Only negative stuff was Kaya, i don't know, it looked like a freak to me, as if she was coming from a tanning salon or something like that
